Seeing how much Bortles sucks, who is the most pro ready qb in this draft? We wont have a shot at Kizer, but maybe Kaaya. I dont want another project. Could Kaaya come in an instantly be an upgrade over Bortles? Does he have the proper throwing mechanics and footwork?
I wouldn't want either Kizer or Kaaya. Kizer relies too much on his athleticism and lacks accuracy and decision making and I don't see Kaaya ever being anything more than a backup in the NFL and that would be a stretch. Mitch Trubisky is the only QB I would even want from the guys I've seen this year and he's likely to be the 1st QB off the board. With that said, before we go spending a high pick on a new QB, why don't we see what we have in Brandon Allen? I really liked the kid coming out of college and would like to give him a shot before we go off and spend a high pick on a position we might not need.

Only people who love to be miserable think Bortles sucks. He is being ruined by the crappy coaching staff that will be fired in January. We don't need a QB.

College is much different than the pros. Ask
ANY NFL player. The guys in the pros are bigger, stronger, faster and they hit way harder. A running QB with the physique of an NFL CB would never last. He would be constantly hurt, like RG3.
Trubisky will be the best QB of this draft. Book it. IF he enters of course.

Agreed, but he'd almost certainly be the first QB selected.

I'm on the fence about him after watching a few of his games. Probably the best arm in the draft and is a good athlete but is really raw and needs a ton of work in many areas of the game. Shouldn't be drafted until the 3rd or later.

Agreed. That kid needs a ton of work and he comes out of a funky offensive scheme. I see him more of a 5th-7th rounder. At least I wouldn't even consider him until that point.

I hope he goes back for another year as he's real fun to watch.
I highly doubt we see Dave Caldwell draft a QB in the first or second rounds this draft.
I know everyone is bailing on Bortles... but if you're looking for another first round QB.. I think it's further down the road...
