You are ignoring the word watched on purpose, obviously. What matters is what you see on TV, not paper.

LMAO and away we go....

I've picked within stat lines all year instead of what I really thought via the eye test. This pick is going against that norm for sure. They're averaging around 20 points per game with their top rusher having low production (under 100 yards). With the jags run defense and a clots offense getting tighter/cleaner aside from Doyle, you could see that point average go higher. Brissett is getting comfortable and their RBs still haven't had a breakout game. Not outside the possibility clots could score 33. Sorry, I'm just not buying the jags defensive hype. I'm hopeful the jags prove me wrong.
I understand what you're saying but I'm going by "what's most likely to happen?"

In this game, the Colts Oline will most likely struggle mightily against a very good Jags Dline. Unless there are special teams TDs or defensive TDs for the Colts, I can't see how they score 33. The Colts 2 wins this year are against the two winless teams in the league. They won those games by 3 points a piece. The Colts have the worst point differential in the league. So I tend to side with what's most likely to happen.
I will never understand why anybody would want to go by the stat sheet instead of what happens on field. If you watch football you know statistics mean nothing by themselves.

You can do both. You can use your eyes and use to stats to help understand what's happening. Just using one or the other is not gaining all of the information. It's why Dalvin Cook fell in the draft. His combine was bad but his tape was really good.

The Colts are bad on paper and watching some of their games, they really struggle with teams that have a good Dlines (Seahawks, Rams, Cards).

You missed the "by themselves" part. I never said you should throw all the numbers out and say 100% of them are meaningless in that comment.
10-4 overall.

so far this year jags have beaten a good team, and lost to a bad team. well last snday they got beat by a good team. so just maybe they can beat a bad team this week.

my picks for this week are.

Tittians

Jags
I really, really want the Colts & Brown's to win.

But I don't think either will.

I am with you on the Browns.

I do too, but I am gonna chicken out and not pick them.

Tacks and Jags for the win
4-0 overall
Week # 6 Results: 3-0
Overall Results: 14-6

Week # 7 Selections:

Jacksonville
Tennessee
Jaguars - of course
*starts choking* tacks most likely....(there I said it)...
but would love to see the browns upset them
Gotta go with Jax on the odd week. Won't be as easy without Fournette if hes sidelined, but we match up with Indy very well.

And going with Tennessee. Honestly the further behind in record Cleveland falls, the more dangerous they get. I would not want to be the team playing someone who's 0-6. But I don't think they'll break that today, even if I want them to. (I do think SF gets their first though)

2-1 last week

11-9 overall
Jags
tacks
This week: 2-0 (though I'd be happier with 1-1 if Cleveland had pulled it off)
Overall: 10-11

Almost have my head above water.
I was baffled that the browns were even in overtime. The coverage they showed after the Jaguars game really said more about how bad Mariota is when the run game isn't carrying him than anything else.
2-0 this week. 12-4 overall. Bullseye both jags, and tittians are on bye this week. maybe you could see what overall season standings are before you do nextt weeks picks please.

Thanks D6.

As excited as I am to beat Indy the way we did, what has me the most excited for the moment is the idea that we are currently on pace to beat the '84 Bears single season sack record.

For me to be able to even think that is mind blowing to me.
