Raiders:

-one of the Worst defenses in the league (they gave up a bunch of points again today)

-not much running game at all

-the most penalized team in the league (coaching)

They are 5-0 on the road, and their QB looks LEGIT. They're winning.

But, "no QB can win with a bad PPG defense, no running game, and penalties galore."

Oh, wait
Franchise QBs cure a lot of ills. I look forward to the day that we have a franchise QB.
Derek Carr is literally the only reason the Raiders win. THAT is a franchise QB.

Bortles has just been regressing. The Patriots were going to draft Blake in the 1st round. That says a lot. However, we have a failed system and now that there is film on him and our running game has gone from mediocre to dead all the pressure is on him and this line to hold up. He could be doing better but the erroneous ways of the team and system creep in after a while and you will eventually look like Blaine Gabbert when he was here. But at least looked serviceable in San Francisco for a while.

You mean the texans, right?  I don't remember any rumor about the pats wanting Bortles.

Yeah, I never saw Amari Cooper make about 6 highlight reel catches last week. 12 for 173 and a TD. Cooper gets separation among the best in the league. He's a #1.
Bortles only brings in his personal coach to work on mechanics now....

Could have spent all offseason working on them instead of swilling beer.

He did work in the offseason with tom house. Whatever house did didn't help. 2014 with Jordan palmer was bettee for bortles.

He spent a few days with House this year. Last year he did far more work with House and it showed.

Blake just didn't put the work in over the offseason and its showing.

Carr continually makes some of the best throws in the league.

He anticipates and throws his WRs open.
