And we were supposed to beat Indy, Cincinnati, Cleveland and SD. Guess what? We beat them.

Other than a dumb gut feeling, you have no actual facts to think the Colts will win. It’s why the spread is almost 9. Can the Colts win? Yea but it’s not likely. Their weaknesses are our strengths.
Yeah but everybody overlooked BY and we got beat. I pegged us as a loss on that one. And I pegged a loss against the Cards.

Just found out Jimmy Gorropolo is starting for the 49ers, so that could change things for us.

I hope we smash the Colts and you come on here and tell me I was wrong. I'm nobody. I just been watching football forever, coach it currently, and play fantasy, I bet on draft kings, etc. I just love it. The games I gave you is just my opinion.

NY not BY. (It autocorrected)

Yep, that's why we play the games. They aren't played on paper.

Exactly! !!

Will Jimmy be using the Pats roster as well? If not, nothing changes!

West coast games can always be scary no matter who we're playing. Especially if it's a team that has nothing to lose.

Edit: I botched the quoting, but it was meant to be a reply to atburg.
I see us winning Sunday, I had us down for win right the way from the Bye to this game. Sadly we came just short last week for a couple reasons, but I don't think anything changes.

I had the Seahawks as a ? and still do, then wins against Hou & San Fran... Tacks I was confident, but much will depend on the injury status of our OL by then me thinks.
Indy sucks we will smash them but I'm still concerned the defense isnt as good as advertised and we will be one and done in the playoffs.

I know we should be happy with just being respectable after a decade of suck but now my hopes are all up and I'm wanting so much more.
I just don't see any logic in picking the Colts.

They have a terrible Oline, no run game, and their run defense is bad. The Jags just got beat by Gabbert so the defense will be extra motivated to prove they are the best.

How is the defense isnt as good as advertised? They had some busted coverage's last week but still had a lot of three and outs and held Zona to a lot of FGs, they also scored a TD.

Just because they dont shut teams out every week doesnt mean they are not as good as advertised, they number 1 defense in a bunch of categories

Getting those OL guys back will be huge...

But missing #50 will suck.
But.. concussions are no joke... hope he gets better... and if there is a game we could afford to miss Smith, maybe this is it...
LB Telvin Smith (concussion) and WR Allen Hurns (ankle) only Jaguars players not expected to practice on Wednesday. RT Jermey Parnell (knee) and LG Patrick Omameh (quad) are going to practice in some form. First time both have been able to practice since before the Cincinnati game on Nov. 5.

If Parnell is healthy but not Omameh, do you think theres a chance we see Cam Linder Shatley Cann Parnell? I'm still shocked Shatley isn't getting more PT.

Also, this is from the Colts Beat Write on Jaguars.com

"Mostly, they have to protect the quarterback. They have given up 28 sacks in the last five games. That’s ridiculous. This is without question the worst matchup possible for the Colts because they can’t protect the quarterback. I wouldn’t bet on the Colts this week with your money."
Anyone just see the bortles Livestream on FB? Before it started bortles was talking about ucf coaching situation and someone mentioned jedd Fisch. You could tell bortles was holding back his insults hahahaha

Their run defense is ranked 13th.
Not to shabby, considering last year.

I think the Jags ran for 188 and 2 TDS last time against them. Without Fournette.

Very true, and San Francisco does have decent line as well.

LOL.  That's pretty bad when my boy, a tack fan questions somebody's fandom.
Well i see this being the theme for nearly the rest of the season, a game we should win but can we avoid the mistakes and get our key parts clicking.

The Colts have seemed to step it up lately, they know Pagano is on a seriously hot seat and are playing for him. Brissett has had some nice plays but they are struggling on the O-line and moving the ball. I think the key for our O is not giving the opposing D a chance to get going, to let them start dominating the line and playing press. We let Arizona's D do that for the whole first half and you can't keep asking the D to bail you out with turnovers or FG's at best. We have to find a way to get the run game going, Fournette doesn't look healthy to me, he isn't hitting the hole as aggressive and he hasn't had that burst since the ankle injury. Yeldon has done some nice things this year and Ivory started well but has tailed off.

We also have to get back to having Bortles throwing normal numbers. Of course that needs a run game and receivers making catches (Lee) but it's still heart in mouth stuff seeing him throw. Not trying to be anti Bortles but that late throw that Mathieu picked off was so bad. Bad throw, bad timing and no awareness of Mathieu.

I also want to see how this team react, there's pressure and expectation now and most games are 'must wins'. I'm still a bit unsure about the Seattle game but we can win the rest. For me it's all about winning the AFC South. That would be a huge achievement.
Parnell and Omameh practiced "limited" the past two days -- and now Wells missed Friday's practice.

Not looking good up front for the Jags' run game.

Ouch. We need those guys back, not much backups for the backups. Hopefully this is saving them for Sunday but we need as many bodies as we can back.
