Clearly, Bortles doesn't.

Trying to figure out why people on here actually think Romo is a good quarterback. On top of the fact that he's never healthy. He's done. Move on.

LOL Jags fans are a joke on this board. They think slot WR Lamar Jackson is a better NFL option than a 35 TD, 4400 yard 23 year old NFL QB.

I wouldn't listen to anything these clowns think. They think a 37 year old, 12 surgery, underachiever QB Romo on a GOOD TEAM, is gonna save a BAD TEAM!

Yes there is doubt

Bortles needs to work A LOT next summer and this franchise has to give him a real NFL coaching staff. He is not a bad QB.

He needs a better work environment and a coach who will kick his [BLEEP]. Not a friendly coach like Gus the Clown.

haha you're such a basketcase (apparently just like Blake).  why don't you ever include the 20+ turnovers he had last year, including multiple pick-6s?

I haven't heard one person say they wanted Lamar.

You're delusional.

Earphones guy loves him and so does Jerrad. Jerrad thinks he's a franchise QB. bahahahaha

Bill O'Brien and Ryan Mallett say hello. Belichick is what makes that system work. Not anyone of his cronies.
You should draft a QB every year

But we are not going out of our way to draft Blakes replacement after 3 years, maybe one in the 3rd or back, but as a backup to develop

Quote:Bortles might not finish this season as the starter.

Yes he will unless he gets hurt, what would be the point in putting in Henne, Bortles is a young QB, he needs all the reps he can get, even if you think he needs to be replaced you still need to give him the rest of the year, the savior isnt walking throw that door, unless we sign Tebow lol
Quote:We said the same damn things about Blaine Gabbert after his 3rd year. It's time to open our eyes and see that Bortles is part of the problem and realize he's not the guy moving forward.

We may be stuck starting Bortles next year, but we absolutely should be in the market for the best QB we can find.
Plz stop with this Gabbert crap, he cant even hold Bortles jock, Bortles had almost as many tds and yards last year then Gabbert has in his career. Gabbert was pure garbage, Bortles is a struggling young QB who has shown he can play well in the NFL.

Gabbert has never shown anything, Bortles struggles are similar to Stafford and Eli early on. People say Bortles gets garbage time yards, but Gabbert couldnt even get those to boost his stats and he had the NFL leading rusher on his team.

You people think QBs grow on trees, they dont

I'm eager to see what we got in the Allen kid, TBH.

I think next offseason we address QB with a FA.

Bortles, Allen, FA (Kap, Romo, Glennon, Davis, etc)

If none of the 3 shake out, I think we attack QB high (round 1 or 2) in 2018.
I think we'll let Bortles play out his contract. And they'll want to give him an opportunity with whatever HC we bring in next year.

I take it you havent seen the kid play! Me being a fsu fan who watched this guy destroy us in the air and on land.. I have never seen it before since well Michael Vick... And you cant be serious bringing up Bortles trash garbage time stats to validate him being a good qb... Its called the eye test...Not numbers..

Bull piss. Gabbert was nothing like Bortles. Bortles showed promise last year. Gabbert showed us the art of the fetal position.

So 2 people speak for the whole fan base?

Got it.

You're a loser.

YO BOY says it all. Lamar Jackson is not an NFL QB. Congrats, Charlie Ward was good in college too.

See above- "YO BOY". It goes on and on. Calling someone a loser who's pointing out facts shows you're inept.

This. Wonder if Cutler suddenly becomes available. Will the Bears keep him?
