Quote:Yea but he actually has blazing speed and acceleration. Yeldon is slow.
I don't like Yeldon as a player.  I think he is not a good RB.  To me he is a RB3 option who can step in for the RB2 if he is hurt.  He is definitely not a premiere back.

He has some skill to his game, can catch, block, good agility etc. But he isn't strong or fast enough to be a featured back. Maybe he'd be better with a better line.

We were all spoiled with Fred Taylor and MJD.  Man were those guys good.  MJD played on HORRIBLE teams and always made plays.  He wasn't going to blame the crappy QB, OL, or D.
What does bortles do well?   Um......I am struggling

He's big and fat so he can withstand many hits behind our crappy OL
So who's the coward that's calling out other players and won't say who he is.  Stone hands ARob who's too slow to get open or fat boy JT who's usually hurt and just cashing checks every week.

This team is full of losers. Fowler sucks.  Jalen wants to be in Dallas and can't wait til he's a free agent to get out of here, etc, etc.  Bortles is a problem but it goes way deeper than him and Gus.

Can't disagree with you.
Honestly. How can any player succeed here? Our fan base gives up on players after 7 games.

Then the fans cry like little [BLEEP] when the players talk back.

Dude... You are delusional.

How so? Because I am not ready to give up on a player after 7 games?

What we say or think about players means [BLEEP] all about how they develop.

No one has given fowler a chance to develop. Seven games.

He's either gonna develop into a good player or he won't. What fans on the internet say about him has no impact on which way his career goes.

Doesn't stop people from calling him a bust after seven games into his career.

He is a bust. He was planted on his rear multiple times last night. It's a common occurence. Joeckel gets knocked on his keister alot too. This tends to happen often to bad football players.

Like I said. Seven games and he is a bust. But typical fsu fan speaking right here.

Ramsey has done close to nothing but I don't see anyone calling him a bust.

But he does have one dropped interception on the year.
Quote:The team needs to spend whatever is necessary to bring in Tom House to work with Bortles to get past this thing. If he was a golfer, I'd say he's got a case of the yips.

I think that is a very apt way of putting it. Golfer, infielder, etc..
Quote:He can throw deep? Check.

He can throw on the run? Check.

He has success outside the pocket? Check.

He has success running no huddle? Check.

He prefers a vertical passing offense? Check.

Alright Blake, I want you to be a pocket passer and throw short passes only.

Meanwhile, we'll be huddling every play, & throwing in at least one dead in the water play per series.
