Quote:He is a bust. He was planted on his rear multiple times last night. It's a common occurence. Joeckel gets knocked on his keister alot too. This tends to happen often to bad football players.

Or poorly coached ones.
Quote:Like I said. Seven games and he is a bust. But typical fsu fan speaking right here.

Ramsey has done close to nothing but I don't see anyone calling him a bust.

But he does have one dropped interception on the year.

Ramsey locks down top WRs every week. He had a rough 1st half vs Alshon but came back and locked him down in the 2nd half and then sealed the game. He is the best player on our team, doofus.

I mean, I'm sure even a dope like Gus tells fowler not to get knocked on his hind parts, or line up onsides.

Lol. He has one defensed pass all year. Same dumb [BLEEP] penalties as fowler does. Even been ejected.

They have both been boneheads thus far. Dante has been a bad one, Ramsey has been a good one. That's why Ramsey was benched for one play after his personal foul, and Dante was benched for the rest of the half. The team knows who they need and who they don't.

I think fowler has a little bit of an entitlement issue which is terrible and he shouldnt have that. There is no way I can call jalen the best player on the team. Not even close. Our dbs have literally about 6 passes defended all season and one interception. I like jalen a lot and think he is going to be very good, but besides a couple of tackles here and there he hasn't done much in my eyes.

Same with fowler. He hasn't done much but if people call fowler a bust then they have to call jalen a bust as well. I have never in my life seen a number one corner back with no career interceptions.

I don't see it the same way. The goal of a DE is to get onto the stat sheet, the goal of a CB is to keep WRs off of the stat sheet. Passes defensed and interceptions are nice, but they are the icing not the cake. Ramsey has himself a pretty nice cake baking already, it just doesn't have any icing yet. Fowler hasn't even gone shopping for ingredients yet.
Quote:How so? Because I am not ready to give up on a player after 7 games?
Didn't say you had to give up on him. This coaching staff is terrible, its a lost cause and a lost season because of it. You need to be checked in a mental institute if you think the fans are the problem.

None of our players are going to succeed under this staff, so I don't know why you're freaking out about internet comments.

C'mon dude, you're a Jags fan. Enough with the clear UF vs FSU biased opinions. Leave it for college football only.

Jalen held Amari Cooper to 1 catch for 4 yards, he had the game winning deflection against Alshon Jeffery, shutting him down for the entire second half. He shut down Steve Smith when lined up against him, and had a great tip for what could've been a game winning INT. I don't know why you're trying to say he's done nothing. We're all rooting for Fowler, but he's making dumb decisions and getting flagged too many times every game. Jalen has as well, but he's making a strong case to be labeled a top tier CB.

Quote:What does bortles do well? Um......I am struggling

Throws back drinks better than Blackmon?
Bortles = immature k00k

He didn't have a lot of pressure last year. Now he feels like he needs to eclipse the numbers he put up last season. He just needs to play loose, the talent is there, but his head needs to clear up

Ironic since I thought Bortles was mature coming out of UCF, but little by little, from the clothing, to the stories I hear about his bar hopping days at the beach, I started to lose confidence
My concern here, and with the other comment about Blake not being the guy, is why are these players throwing each other under the bus but no one wants to call out this inept staff?
So, what are the chances we'll have Cutler or Romo on the team next year? lol

You think the new head coach will want a basket case as his starting quarterback?

Lol. Cutler is the biggest basket case in the history of football
Ya know, I hate that freaking ESPN. I know BB5 is not playing well, everyone can see this, but to rail him as they did and label him basket case is pretty [BLEEP] rude and unprofessional. Especially since they based the report on [BLEEP] hearsay.

I'll say this, when something bad happens regarding the Jaguars, they sharpen their claws real quick.

It's really strange.

Blake's friends told him it was ok.

Yips or the shakes... I half kid. Even a hangover shouldn't effect how the ball is coming out of his hands. He looks like he is thinking about throwing. That should just come natural.

Also, Bortles isn't leading. I think he should be talking to his teammates. Not every time, but he seems secluded.
Quote:Chubb or Cook for me.

We need to focus on oline next year. Not saying RB doesn't matter, but Dallas made McFadden look good again last year.

If a guy like Cook or Fornette falls into our laps I say pull the trigger.
