The only saving grace is they get another half and one more week to figure this out

I'm cool with that. A team we haven't seen yet. Not sure it matters though because this team is playing like a dumpster fire.
This is pathetic. If this is what "trying to win" looks like, we are doomed. It's obvious to me that game planning is everything for this team. And there doesn't seem to be much of a game plan for this team. Just running it up the middle and throwing 3 yard passes is not much of a game plan. We've seen it too many times, and result is usually horrific.

Yep. Two games non withstanding this offense plays better with fournette out of the game

It doesn’t make sense but it’s true. They play a more balanced game when he is out

What if we won and everything else holds?
Familiar story for Jags........dumb mistakes, no offense. Not optimistic for the playoffs.
I predicted losses to 9ers and Titans.

Oh well. We're still AFC Champs. (Shrugs)
BTW, it's 2018 here now. So Happy New Years you miserable gits.
Should have just ignored the NFL for 2 weeks after the Texans game. None of this really matters and the team has looked dismal.
Jags are not good on the road.

Thank god we get a home playoff game.

I disagree this is not a meaningless game...why would we want to enter the playoffs without momentum.
Simms is right:

Aside from that one play given up,, the Jags defense has given up nothing.
They've done a good job keeping this thing a close ball game.
Is it too cold to throw it deep? Why is the offense playing 10 yards and in?

Just don't want to play LA/SD.

So, its just another day, the sun rises, the moon sets, we eat, sleep, poop, rinse, repeat.

It feels like we are much more conservative playcalling team with Fournette in the game.  But our oline just doesnt consistently create the holes needed for someone like Fournette to be successful.  We seem to be a more explosive offense when they get Bortles in rhythm early.  I hope we go into next week with a completely new gameplan.  Look to throw early and often.  Get Bortles into the game with some confidence.  And then pound Fournette when the defense gets loosened up.

The old NFL is over.  You have to throw to set up the run these days.

I don't poop everyday.

Same thing, but Baltimore has just clawed back into the game.
