Why do our receivers run routes shorter than the line of scrimmage on 3rd down? Happens too much.

No kidding.

You can grab it, make a move up field and fumble it, and they'll say incomplete.

But if you can't maintain control and the ball is flying all over the place then it's a catch.

They just need to make it simple: if it touches the ground then it's a drop.

Let's not be predictable.
