You WILL not agree with this but it's all the difference in the world......

2015 Carolina Panthers (15-1)- #6 scoring defense in NFL

2015 Jacksonville Jaguars (5-11)- #31 scoring defense in NFL

2016 Carolina Panthers (1-5)- #29 scoring defense in NFL

2016 Jacksonville Jaguars (2-4)- #26 scoring defense in NFL

Did Cam Newton REGRESS as a QB? He was MVP. No. His team is just bad as the Jags are now.

Gus Bradley has had 4 years to fix a defense that is constantly #26-#31 in scoring defense in ALL 4 years, leads the NFL in penalties, and is LAST in takeaways.

9 of the top 10 scoring defenses in 2016 are on pace to make the NFL playoffs.

Until you understand how important this is, you'll never have a winning team......

Jags have scored 117 points this year- they are (2-4)

Bears have scored 111 points this year- they are (1-6)

Seahawks have scored 111 points this year- they are (4-1-1)

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE?

How do YOU describe (4-3) Houston Texans with 71 QB rating Brock Osweiler then?! (Bortles 76 QB rating). Oh that's right, The Texans are #13 in NFL in scoring defense....the reason they lead the division and are going to the playoffs.

Thanks Gus! You're a defensive guru.

Not that interesting

New Orleans has the #32 ranked scoring defense.  How is Brees managing his numbers?  I mean, it's all about statictics...right?

I describe it as horrible coaching, horrible QB play, and horrible discipline team wide(guess thats coaching too)

It's because it's the truth. Jaguars are NEVER making the playoffs again until they get another Del Rio like top 10 scoring defense. The truth hurts.

Not very well. The Saints are (2-4) and missing the playoffs AGAIN. Sucks when QBs like Brees and Rivers have to play on bad defenses their entire careers.

Yet they still manage to put up great numbers, unlike your boyfriend.
What stood out to me here is the Bears and Seahawks allowed the same number of points, but Chicago as one win and Seattle has one loss. Is this a coincidence? Can we figure out how that happened?

I don't know why you singled out the Panthers and Seahawks. It only makes sense if you look at all 32 teams.

This is about the most un-interesting thing I have ever read.

Why do you keep repeating the same stuff? You obviously have a hard time understanding what people are saying. NOBODY has ever said this team collectively does not suck. They do. In many categories. The defense has improved, but it still has some work to do. What people are saying is that Bortles sucks too. Outside of the team sucking, he has his own major issues that are contributing to the team failing. A bad defense is not causing him to throw 10 feet over people's head. A poor running game is not causing him to throw into triple coverage. Those are his issues alone. Issues you are refusing to address and understand.

What?! Bortles put up great numbers last year and this franchise was (5-11). I know you're 61 years old but you can't be that dense to see what the problem is. It doesnt matter if Bortles plays great (last year) or bad (this year), the Jags still aren't going anywhere.

Bortles had an 88 QB rating and 35 TDs and 4400 yards last year and we were (5-11). Nothing matters until the defense, running game, and head coach is changed. If anything, the Jags have WASTED Bortles, Allen Robinson, and Allen Hurns developmental years with inept coaching.

And, exactly what does that have to do with this year?  I know with the thickness of your cranium that may be a little difficult to follow, even though you were the bonehead that posted stats from this year.  And golly, you're really hurting my feeling by quoting my age.  This may be a shocker to you as dense as you are, but I know how old I am.

Idiot.
Cause it's all about dat scheme, bout dat scheme, bout dat scheme, no progress...

Dang, level 61! Congrats.

Why do keep picking the stats you want and leaving out the others? He also had 35 Interceptions in 2015 and 2014. How many fumbles did he have? He was sacked over 100 times, many because he chose to do more than he could instead of throwing the ball away. How many penalties did he have? I know specifically he had 3 passes in front of the line of scrimmage last year. 2 in one game while we were in the redzone. Why do you omit those statistics?

Also, do you keep talking about last year? We know he had a decent year last year. This year he sucks and has regressed. You're denying that?

I heard mention on the radio that Bortles was on pace for another 4000 yard season and that he is ahead of last year's pace after the same amount of games...  Bortles was far from "great" last year.

Peyton Manning had 100 INTs his first 5 years. It didn't click for him until YEAR 6.

So why were the Colts (10-6) every year? Well, they had a top 5 running game in Edgerrin James, a top 12 defense, and Tony Dungy.

Look what the Jags have......NOTHING.

And Khan keeps Gus Bradley. This franchise is the worst run franchise in the NFL. It's not even close.
