Hand concussion, FTW!!
If nothing else, even with Brady being coy about his injury, the defense has a target. Glove or no glove...Its like blood in the water for a shark. heheheheheheh....

You can bet the DL is aiming for it

Brady’s right thumb bent back badly when he was smashed into by a running back. Somehow, the ball got jammed back into the webbing between his thumb and index finger and it caused a cut. Might have been the laces. There may be stitches. He’s not taking snaps under center. He can take them in shotgun. He’s trying not to aggravate the thumb between now and kickoff so the reps are at a minimum. He can throw. I have no idea how hard, how far or how accurately.

He's listed as questionable on the injury report. He may take a shot of Toradol prior to the game since the area still hurts from the trauma (hence the X-ray on Wednesday to rule out any structural issues).

That’s what we got.

I have a feeling dude will play no matter what. If all he can do is take snaps from shotgun that's what he'll do. This game is more important than so many realize. Could you imagine the sheer mayhem that would ensue if we beat them and make it to the SB? We literally shocked the football world by beating the Steelers. Beating the Patriots would put people in the hospital from the shock of it all. The fans' hang wringing alone on their message board over this is amusing. I think they will break the internet if they lose.

And people think Brady won't play? Ya, you betcha.
Breaking news. I have obtained a photograph of the Brady hand injury that is the cause of concern. WARNING!! graphic photo.

I don't think anyone expects Brady to NOT play, it's how effective will he be with it?

If he can't take snaps under center, that severely limits the NE offense. They had an even 50/50 split with 68% of run plays under center and 38% of pass plays.

It effects the Gronk deployment as well.

I hope the Jaguars take this game. I live in the new england area now and it would shut many people up.
I wonder if that is thumb that typically resides up Gisele's butt?

I think it's usually the other way around

Same, but I don't think it will. You know this thing with the thumb will give them the entire off season of excuses in that case
A bit of speculation from San Diego on the so called injury....

I already told you all its a trick. hes not really hurt. They are trying to fool jags defense so they don't play as hard. NE does it all the time. ussalley teams fall for it. Brady ends up haveing a great game cause other team defense lies down due to the fake injury. Hopefully jags don't fall for the trick, and still play defense getting after him. i will have a video up later today.

And we already told you that you're wrong on this one. You don't miss practices for a "trick". Especially when you're playing a game with Coughlin at the helm. If you really think the Jags are going to play soft because of this, you're out of your mind Wolfie.
The madden curse strikes again if Brady plays bad because of his thumb........ Part of me wants to beat the pats with Brady, the other half of me still wishes he’d die in a car crash ?

Go jags!!!!!
If anything it'll make the Dline even hungrier to hit him. No one in the NFL likes Brady.

I don't care how we do it. I just want a win.

Same here.  I’d even take a controversial call in our favor.  Not like the refs would help us out against the Patriots though.  I don’t care, I just want to see them in the super bowl. And I wouldn’t even care what the media would say in that scenario.

Why would the defense lie down?

I don't see the strategy in faking an injury and I don't see the strategy in having the defense lie down.
Stephen A. Smith already said on ESPN that the NFL NEEDS Brady in the Super Bowl, to bounce back from all the bad ratings. I think it's the exact opposite. People are tired of the same old same old. Get new blood in there. Blake vs. Case, along with the Vikings playing in their home stadium? That's a cash cow....

Sorry, but Blake Bortles is not a cash cow. You'd have much more viewers tuning in to root against Brady than to watch Blake Bortles.
