60% of public on Jags at 7.5. That's not good with the way the line is going...

Sharps hedgeing
Turns out it's just a sprained mangina.
Gisele smacked his hand when he was a little to aggressive with the hair brush.

Typical movement. Line STARTED at -8. It's at -7.5. No movement based on Brady injury. Just typical shark adjustment. If there was injury movement you would know it.

I thought it was 9.5. I heard it multiple times and Colin herdturd said it too.

Could be. Definitely wasn't -8 though.
Not that i think Brady is going to miss this game, picking through the NE message board a lot of people saying that the Pats would beat us easily with Hoyer, lmao. I've always liked Hoyer, thought he got a bad wrap, but sorry that'd be a disaster for New England. He'd play waaay too safe and struggle to move the ball all game against our secondary. Would probably switch to a run heavy scheme which would help keep the game manageable.

Yeah, I was laughing on the inside while reading that.  I think Brady plays too.  With all the players saying the same thing it looks like a smoke screen.  Tom Brady can miss a few practices and still be Brady.  There is that small chance that it is to cover up that he will be out and wanting the Jags to gameplan around Brady instead of Hoyer.  Wishful thinking.
His WRs aren't catching the balls Antonio Brown did. So it doesn't matter.

This is just silly. You don't miss practices going into the AFCCG just to try to trick an opponent.

I’m not saying he is missing practices for the reason of creating a smokescreen.    The only reports that seem to jive is Brady jammed his hand and had some swelling possibly.  I can see them holding him out for precaution/healing reasons.  The media of course is speculating and asking a million questions, as they should.  The players answers seem scripted and McCourty had the cat that ate the canary look on him.  So I can see it being a fairly non issue and they being the Pats in an important game stying hush hush about it and being coy.  I guess the “smokescreen” would be letting the media hype it up as something more serious.
Do you really think Brady needs reps at 40 to be effective? I'd wager it's just as probable he is watching film during practice and put on the injury report to spare him the media distraction. The reports could be true, but I wouldn't believe any of it until you can see it on gameday.

Someone that swears they know everything about football and you didn't know the starting betting line?  Some sites even had it at 9.5.  I don't even want to prove it because I want to see you flounder.
This thread title is gold by the way.

I would venture to say that if his hands is as tight as it looked yesterday, then yes he would need reps.  Unless that hand is 100% on Sunday, throwing with a thumb that wont move is nearly impossible.

At this point in his career though... does he really need practice? He's out there for walk thrus and in meetings... a day off to keep it out of the cold isn't crazy.
Dude's been playing for like 20 years... and he's practiced all year with these guys... so his timing is down.

I think it's the Pats being the Pats (even though the hand injury is likely somewhat legit) and the media doesn't have much to talk about so it's a traditional nonstory story for them to use heading into championship weekend.
I don't think it is intended to "trick" anyone. Except maybe the sports bettor
You don't take injections for practice. They will use every roll the guy out there trick for Sunday.
I hope the Jags are able to hit Brady early, even if it takes some blitzing. There is a good chance to aggravate a hand issue in trying to brace a fall.
