If we beat the Patriots, it'll be two solid weeks of this stuff from the national media....from Kornheiser, Paige, et al.

If we win against the Patriots-and for that matter win the Super Bowl-pissing off guys like this will make it even sweeter.
If they go to the super bowl, this fan will be ecstatic. I really don’t give a [BLEEP] what the media says at that point.
Who cares what that yahoo thinks.......

We're taking it ALL THE WAY!

GO JAGS!

On the other hand, if the Jags lose, we'll have to listen to this...

Every penalty that NE gets is well deserved and any penalty their opponents get is blatant favoritism. I get it. Couldn't be that NE is more disciplined could it?

Anyone else ready for game day already?

Not on the play you referenced. #41 stepped into the neutral zone which caused the O-line to move. Refs corrected a bad initial call. Now, if you mentioned the Decker OPI, I might have agreed, but NE gets called for that all the time. Especially Gronk when his arms are pinned to his sides.

I will admit though, if the Pats weren't still in this I'd have rooted for the Jags against the NFC.
Written by Mike Tanier. This must be Roger Goodell's nom de plume.
Mike Tanier.. Bills & Steelers fan.. betcha..

The difference is whatever detractors have to say will be more than offset by all of the praise you get.  We wouldn't get as much praise.  If we beat you, the focus will be overwhelmingly on what went wrong with you as opposed to why the Jaguars were able to make plays.

As to your closing question...heck yeah  I'm ready!
Lol. Articles like this are so pathetic and toxic for the NFL. Some scrooge who probably hates his life has to take out his personal frustration on a city and team he obviously knows nothing about.
Wow. This is drivel. I can't believe I wasted my time.
“The Super Bowl isn't for the fanatics who study internet GIFs of off-tackle runs on Wednesday mornings. It's for casual fans to host parties and cheer for touchdowns, local rock jocks to dare listeners to eat live crickets in exchange for tickets and the corner supermarket to offer buy-one-get-one-free jars of salsa. An entire cottage industry has grown around the Super Bowl as a holiday. Vikings-Jaguars would make this the NFL's year without a Santa Claus.”

So last weeks 45 point explosion on the Steelers as well as the most dramatic walkoff score most of us have ever seen by the Vikings isn’t good enough for the so called “casual fans”? Got it. Idiot.

Please don't take this as bragging because it's not my intent...

Rarely, do teams outright beat the Patriots. When a team wins 12-14 games year in and year out. It was like this in the early 90s with Dallas. KC did on opening night and in the, "We're on to Cincinnati game. Dolphins do it now and then. Jets in the playoffs a few years ago. Falcons in last year's SB until the 4th quarter. Those are some examples quickly off the top of my head when NE just got beat. The Jags have a defense that can be great, but they've also had some stinkers too.

It's going to depend on which Bortles shows up. The one that played Buffalo or the one the beat the lowdown, dirty, Steelers. NE has only given up 14 points/game over the last 12 games. It's really good too.
Mike Tanwad? Who's that?

I am curious when you became a fan of the Pats? Convient to leave out Panthers and KC from your team defense. Honestly though looking at the scores, yeah your defense has played better than I remembered. Does look like scrambling QBs give them trouble.  I am looking forward to the end of the Pat reign and I hope we can ccntribute with our mediocre QB.

Not much longer now. Go Jags!
There are no words..... I need a shower after reading that garbage. The SB isn't for real football fans anymore according to them, it's an excuse to have a party and is considered a holiday. And ratings have been down because popular teams haven't been doing well.

Whoever wrote this is an imbecile to the nth degree and beyond. And it's already been mentioned that if the Pats win they'll talk about everything they did right (and might talk about what we did wrong) and if we win they won't talk about everything we did right to win (we've already seen some of this post Steelers game). I'm not one who demands respect from the media and all that crap, but drivel like this just pisses me off.

Obviously I want us to win this game, but now even more so. I want these jackwads and others like them crying, literally CRYING Sunday night because we won. I want them to have nightmares that make them wet their beds. I want them to have to watch us in the Super Bowl and HAVE to talk about it. I want them to taste ash every time they have to say any variation of Jaguars and the players and coaches names, every time they have to say Duval or Jacksonville, or Sacksonville.

I want their reactions to be the same as the Steelers who were beyond shocked (and not awed) they lost to us.

Damn I'm fired up. Gotta go find my whiskey.....

It appears that both players move at the exact same time, and it seems like they were reacting to the long snapper moving his head up quickly. This video was slowed down a bit burn the original looks a lot faster. So, it still looks like it’s on the Patriots
Oh, and the comments section? I bunch of crybaby, bed wetter, self admitting casual fans who only want to see the popular teams and chastise us real fans for wanting a real game.

WHERE IS MY WHISKEY!?
Sounds like it was written by a guy who has never played any kind of football, even paper football
I watches a couple of YouTubes which focused on football wagering and they mentioned the "Patriot friendly" referees as one reason they didn't want to bet on the Jaguars in this game.
