In all seriousness, he would not come out and say we are a bad team. Record speaks for itself.

He said we have "the right players" and a lot of talent. There is no disputing that.

lol like I said... sub par teams.

Sorry you wasted your whole life watching something you still can't comprehend. You should go pick up a copy of madden, it'll really help you out.

Whoa whoa whoa, you know as well as I do that the season is not over until sometime after 7:00 PM on New Years Day.
Well. Do you still believe now?

Being optimistic about your team is a true crime against humanity.

I actually like this thread...   I had much optimism reading it.  Of course 6 minutes into the game, I recalled this thread and the optimism and started laughing.  When we fumbled the punt, I laughed some more.

Quote:When we looked at the second quarter of the season, it was reasonable to expect a 3-1 record, though most fans want to see a 4-0 record.  I personally was afraid that the Raiders game would be a L though I didn't expect it to be so ugly.

I think that because of the ugly loss, the Jaguars go out on Thursday night and light it up.  I have a feeling that the offense is going to finally move the ball down the field and finish drives with points one way or another.  I also think that the defense finally gets some turnovers and holds the Titan's running game in check.

I don't expect a blowout win by any means, but I think the team improves the second quarter record to 2-1 with a "mini bye" before they face the Chiefs.

The whining and crying fans need to get a hold of themselves.  The season isn't even half over yet, and when you look at how the league is shaking out right now, we haven't lost to any "bad" teams.

I won't predict a final score, but I do think that the Jaguars pull off the win.

How'd that one work out for you coach? LMBO.

The only thing that I believe at this point regarding the team is that there should be some job vacancies opening up today.

I'm at a loss for words.  In my 45+ years of watching NFL football I have NEVER seen a team just give up like that.

This is perhaps what dismays the most.

Sentiments of this nature are shockingly pervasive throughout Jaguars nation.

I think the fans can take bad results.  We intrinsically know that they can come with the territory on occasion.

What fans can't stomach is the lack of effort.

I have been disappointed by the Jaguars many times over the years.  But never have I been compelled to question the team's effort.

Morale, in my opinion, is completely shot, on the team and amongst the fans.
