Those Giants sure had their number.

I just don't see that happening.

You forgot 100% chance of smugness

You can’t deny that the Patriot fan base is extremely smug... but if you talk about smug - a player from which team publicly predicted a Super Bowl victory last week?  It goes both ways

Falcons did that in the 1st half of the SB last year. Patriots adjusted in the 2nd half. I'm very interested to see the pressure Jags bring to start the game. How they come out swinging will either give me pause for concern, or allow me to sit back and enjoy the game.

It's a big part of it.

Consistent disruption is the key and easier said than done.  Tom gets the football out of his hand at an exceptional rate but if you can hit him through pressure up the middle you stand a chance.  It isn't about the number of sacks though, it's about the amount of disruptiveness.

It (smugness) grows on you a bit after the 5th title.

Well, it sure hasn’t given you any class.  That’s for sure.

Pull it out until you hear a nice popping noise then go post why you believe the Jags have so much to overcome.

They are smug. But mostly it's the kids who only ever lived with Patriots success. I'm a bit older @ 41, so I lived through dark days of the early 90s... I've lived through 1-15 and 16-0... and the latter is much better. I appreciate the success they've had and know its time is almost over. I am more confident than smug. I realize on any given Sunday any team can beat you.

Jalen's comments were not the same as the Steeler player talk from the week before.  He was being himself in front of the fans immediately after beating the Steelers.  He didn't make the comment on a Thursday on social media or in interviews throughout the week.  Jalen is a talker.  That's part of his game and how he handles himself.

Was it a comment that shouldn't have been made? Yes but I already explained why it's not a big thing.

LOL. quote me anything "classless" I've said thus far please. If I'm "classless," I wonder what you think of the obnoxious Patriots fan...

Guess what? You guys are not our Superbowl, you guys are our afcc opponent, a stepping stone to what this teams ultimate goal is. People want to believe that this team is content with their season, they aren't, they view you as another opponent, they respect you, but they know they are more than capable of beating you.

The Jaguars didn't need material from your players, they get it daily from message board, news articles, patriot fans, etc. Everyone one doubts them, they see through all the BS that patriots players spew about how much they respect us.

All I read everyday is how the patriots have the Hoody, Brady and Gronk. Great people im sure, at least when people talk about our jags its an entire team (family) not 3 people surrounded by disposable cups.

Get ready for a war that no one was expecting, and let the best team win!

DUUUUUVALLL!!!

No. The Falcons played prevent defense in the fourth quarter.  And they could have kicked a FG early in the fourth quarter that would have made any comeback impossible, but they got greedy.

LOL

The most cocky player on the team  (by a country mile) talked some super bowl smack at a post-playoff-victory rally with 14K fans.
I mean - c'mon   -  what else would you expect from Ramsey at that point?  He's been giving the pats props all week in interviews.

Ok so because it’s Jalen Ramsey that makes it not smug?  Fans are such homers.

Dude.  It's smug -  of course it's smug  - but it's like handing Deion Sanders a microphone in front of thousands of fans after he a big win and expecting to hear humility.  You'd be an absolute fool to expect that.

I'm not being a homer, I'm explaining something very simple to you and you don't want to get it.

The 10% chance of winning comment? That's what I came up with based on what I see. Has nothing to do with class. You probably have the Jags chances of winning at 90%... I don't think you have any less class because you think opposite of myself.

Ok,  so I went back and read other posts you’ve made in other threads.  I must’ve gotten you mixed up with another.  The line about smugness growing after 5, I’ll give benefit of the doubt.  So, I take back the classless comment. My apologies.  But, I’m watching you! Smile
I think it will all come down to the Zebras and if they protect CryBrady from the Big Bad Jaguars
