Ok,  so I went back and read other posts you’ve made in other threads.  I must’ve gotten you mixed up with another.  The line about smugness growing after 5, I’ll give benefit of the doubt.  So, I take back the classless comment. My apologies.  But, I’m watching you! Smile

NP. I only give as good as I get. I don't delight in trolling another team's fan base. I'm always open to legitimate discussion, and I know my team is far from perfect. I avoid Patriots forums like the plague as there is no good discussion. They all just want to hear how great we are. I get more out of the opponents forum, trying to see how the other half feels about the game.

Anyway, good luck. I'll pop in the game forum during the game, but I won't post. Driving 2 hours to watch with my father so I'm going dark. If you guys win, you'll get one last post from me.

That is a given. NE always gets the benefit of doubt from the referees

Crying about a coach that took the team to the AFCCG his first year after the team went 3-13.  Riiiiight.

Lol, right? I guess it's not surprising Pats fans are completely out of touch with reality... And after seeing some comments on here and some YouTube videos about the matchup I can truly say the rumors are all true. Pats fans are the absolute most clueless and ignorant fans in the NFL lol. It reminds of like nerdy dudes that only like football because the local team near them has been winning for so long.

Jalen's comments were not the same as the Steeler player talk from the week before.  He was being himself in front of the fans immediately after beating the Steelers.  He didn't make the comment on a Thursday on social media or in interviews throughout the week.  Jalen is a talker.  That's part of his game and how he handles himself.

Was it a comment that shouldn't have been made? Yes but I already explained why it's not a big thing.

Gonna disagree with that.  He predicted a victory - it’s the same damn thing.

Out of touch with reality is damn right.  They can’t admit the team has cheated in the past.  Granted I don’t think it gave them a huge advantage nor do I think they needed to do it.  But the bottom is yeah they cheated to get an advantage and they got caught.  Admit it.

I’d also add that they are extremely spoiled and the recent success has gone to their heads.  Easily the most arrogant fan base in football.

Make sure you stick around the board if things don't go your way.

They never do!

HA!  Laughing
For the last time... which one of your WRs can catch the ball on Jalen or AJ?

Amendola and Cooks. Gronk to if he didn't get the  cheap shot.

Cooks actually didn't get open all that much on Jags DBs. He was open vs a LB on several of his opportunities. Smart scheming though.

Gronk was covered well prior to the cheap shot.

Amendola did well - so no argument there.

How else would you recommend Church tackle Gronk?  Blow up his knees?  Some people lack common sense.  smh

The call was a bad one. If the rule states that hit is a penalty then that rule needs an overhaul.

This^ but you won't get a Pats lunatic admitting that.
Brady played, patriots won and America keeps hating them... sounds like accurate reporting to me!

You forgot about how the refs screwed the Jags... It just couldn't be that the Pats are well-coached and disciplined?

Every penalty called on the Jags was blatant. People were calling Mad Dog and NFL Networkon SiriusXM complaining about the delay of game penalty and the helmet to helmet on Gronk. That's how delusional some people are.

Blaming the refs is always the go to reason when any team loses.

They are never going to allow a helmet to helmat hit like that. It will get a flag 100% of the time. Thank you for admitting it was the right call and there's a snowballs chance in hell that they'll even consider changing the rule.

1. The hit on Gronk was exactly how a defender should have played it but it still gets called.  He lead with his shoulder and not into Gronks helmet.  There was zero ill intent by Church on that play.  What should he do next time, take him out at the knees?  Look I hope Gronk is okay and he plays in the Super Bowl even if I won't watch.  He's a great player and a cool guy.  But had Church went low and blown out his knees then where would we be?

2. Wrong.  They are well coached.  I won't argue that and Brady clearly knew to throw it deep and pray for PI.  He did it a few times and with some help from the officials he got a few of them.

They were not any more disciplined than the Jaguars.  The officials were blatantly unbalanced in their calls.  That was the difference in the game.  There are videos and screenshots of obvious penalties your players committed and we didn't get the call.

See above.

It wasn't the right call.  The game, its rules and its officiating are a disaster.
