Just going to post some videos of secondary mid-round options other than the popular Lauletta and Mike White.
Chase Litton: Could we go to the Marshall QB well one more time?

Nic Shimonek: 67% completion 3,963 yds 33 TDs and 10 INTs and a standout Shrine Bowl performance

Quinton Flowers: David Garrard 2.0? Also those helmets are soooooo chrome

Luke Falk: Highly accurate guy, but can he hit passes downfield and go through reads?

Food for thought. Feel free to post your own sleeper picks.
I had to edit the links to the videos so they could all be posted on the same post
Not a fan of any of those guys. Litton is decent, but nothing about his game stands out. He's completely "unspectacular" and IMO, he would be a lifetime backup. Shimonek is a system QB who rarely makes long throws. He throws underneath and allows his receivers to make the big plays. He would fit best in a West Coast system. Flowers is like 5'10" he'd never survive as an NFL QB. He's fast, powerful and elusive and could be a possible star if moved to RB. He could also run wildcat packages allowing for some halfback passes and other trick plays. Falk is a "noodle arm". I watched multiple Washington State games and not once, did he throw the ball 25 yards or better in the air. He must have no arm strength what so ever, because that is almost unheard of. The truth is, there really isn't any sleeper picks at the QB spot. If we draft a player outside of the guys we have mentioned in other posts, then we really aren't getting anything, but a wasted pick.

x2 here on most you mentioned, but I do like Flowers. Poor mans Russel Wilson to me and I would take him in the middles rounds if the Jags don't go QB with the first three picks.

No need to. He'll be an UDFA.

The guy is 6'6", and his very first throw on the clip above stood out to me as impressive.
Keep in mind whoever we get is going to have three years to develop behind Blake, and a lot can happen in that time. I remember Garrard being erratic as heck passing the ball early on, but he ended up developing into a rather decent starter after being groomed for several years.
I'm seeing all kinds of reasons watching Litton's game tape to think he might develop just fine. For starters, he can make all throws including the sideline throw on the run when escaping pressure. He has a nice spiral on his throws and is rather accurate. I don't really feel a QB needs to have something particular that stands out. He just has to be smart and do everything right.

I noticed I had to cut the entire line for each URL, and then in the Youtube window backspace before the word "com."
Unfortunately, you can only embed one video per post, and without disrupting the URL it will try to embed the video.
After Lauletta and White theres a ton of meh. Litton probably has the best upside/baseline combo out of that next tier of guys. He's functionally sound, decent arm and mobile enough. Still probably nothing more than a spot starter.
Personally if you're just going to draft some random QB in the late rounds I'd go with J.T Barrett. Big flaws with inconsistency and mental process but I'll take a punt on his production/pedigree/intangibles over every Qb in that range. He's the perfect backup Qb even though fundamentally flawed.

Watch these highlights. He's making all kinds of deep throws.
I really this this guy too. He impresses me more than what I've seen on tape from Josh Allen or Mason Rudolph.
The only guy I'd like to see the Jags get after round 1 would be Mike White in the 3rd. After Rudolph in the first, he's the guy that provides the most value if taken in the 3rd. At the least, he'd be a big upgrade over Henne as a backup.
Has anyone got a link to reliable stats for players success-rate at varying ranges? (eg, less than 10 yards, 10-20 yards, 20+ yards).
Might be useful to see...

I'll have to check out White.
Watch this on Falk...

Check out @NFLFilmStudy’s Tweet:

He's done several of the top QBs this year.
Interesting, thanks.
So his long-range accuracy is pretty similar to his accuracy on medium-throws.
But his overall accuracy is boosted because he made a lot of short-distance throws.
To me, that doesn’t say he can’t throw long - it just says he threw a lot of short passes.

I tweeted the guy who put those stats together on Falk, to get his take.
He said “he struggles to hit down field and far hash throws consistently. I think he’s a backup at the next level.”

Yep sounds about right. The traits tell you more than the stats imo
Mike Kaye seems to love the kid from Toledo.

Lots of folks do, but I always worry about those MAC QBs. I don't think the NFL has figured out what to do with them just yet.
Luke Falk in RD4 - RD6 would be ideal. He could develop for a few years behind Blake Bortles. J.T Barrett out of OSU is another guy we could probably get later on who I think could develop into a solid QB if left alone for a year or two as well. He's been fairly accurate throughout his career and hasn't made a lot of mistakes with the football. Mike White is another guy we could land late and develop.

The MAC is an enigma scouting wise. You'll see guys like Western Michigan's RB Franklin averaging 1,500 yards 15 TDs a year but at the same time he would probably be a #3 RB in the SEC and runs a 4.7.
