Andrews, Goedert, or gesicki.. I think Mark Andrews is the best pure receiving TE as well as a blocker.. Andrews stock has been rising so don't be surprised to see him at the bottom of round 1..

My order of preference is: Goedert, Gesicki, Hurst, Andrews

I'm fine with Andrews, however, he appears to have a medical red flag that could drop him a little. In his interview, he talked about how easy it is for him to get dehydrated and to cramp up, and that has me questioning if he should really be playing in Jacksonville. So with that in mind, my top TEs are now...

1. Goedert
2. Hurst
3. Andrews
4. Gesicki
5. Schultz

Hurst has Jacksonville ties with an obvious passion for playing with the team, and that pushes him up in my book. His stats I noticed weren't quite up there with Goedert and Andrews, but watching him on film he's a phenomenal receiver and I've noticed some good marks regarding his blocking as well. 

I will be stoked with any of Goedert, Gesecki, or Andrews...and I'd be happy but not quite as happy with Hurst. Any of them are fine though.

Hurst is the most complete TE. It SHOULD be him.

We are losing a Rob so need a red zone threat....I'll take Goedert,Hurst,Andrews,Gesicki,then Schultz aka the same as 02

If you want a Redzone threat, Gesicki should be 1 or 2.

I think Andrews' stock has been doing quite the opposite since the season ended. I like goedert and gesicki if we want to reach in round one and schultz in round 3 or 4.

I don't understand the love and infatuation with Goedert. It's [BLEEP] South Dakota State. Where really the only player they're known for in recent memory since its existence is Adam Vinatieri. And the problem I have with him is that he's inconsistent. And he can't block worth a [BLEEP] at all.

He had five monster games against low level competition in 2017 but he also had a tendency to disappear as well. He wasn't even on the radar during the first month of football last year. And then he flashes a few games mid season and then he disappeared once again during the last month of football. He shouldn't be a first round pick. Unless you're a team that's stacked and balanced already and can afford to invest in one trick pony's.

Teams like New England and maybe Pittsburgh can afford to take him late as a special package type of player. I just don't see him as an every down player. And you shouldn't take a player in the first round at any point unless he's an every down player.

Redzone threat wise. Andrews is the best of the bunch and should be considered the top of his class in that regard. He's consistently hit that 7 - 8 TD mark during his three years with the Sooners and he's coming off his best year yet overall. Gesicki is right behind him. But Andrews seems to make bigger plays overall. Having Mayfield helps. Fumagalli would be next in line. And I like him and Akins late.

Hayden Hurst is the most complete. He's not going to stretch the defense too much but he'll block when needed and he'll come up with a splash play here and there. Good third down target. Basically another Marcedes Lewis type if we draft him late.

Since the FA Signing Period isn't over yet (not even begun actually)... Shouldn't we consider Jimmy Graham in this convo? I mean... we are in win now mode... so any position we can attack in Free Agency would probably not be addressed in the 1st or 2nd round. Any draft pick at this point has to be compared to what we can attack in Free Agency I would think.

If the price is right and cap friendly to the team. He hasn't really been that dominate player for the Seahawks like he was for the Saints. I actually wouldn't be surprised if he goes back to the Saints. Him being reunited with Brees and that running game now and what appears to be an improved defense would be ideal for his skill set.

No. I wouldn't. Jerry Rice was consistently eating up the competition in college and didn't "disappear" for extended weeks at a time. And held TD records that wouldn't be broken until 2006. Never heard of Carson Wants. If you meant Wentz. Yeah, I probably would have passed on Wentz and Goff.

I didn't feel comfortable with the little bit of games they played in during their college careers. Also, jury's still out for the both of them. Derek Carr looked great in 2016 and he was a dud in 2017. Brett Favre wasn't a first round pick. Khalil Mack is a freak athlete with the statistics to back it coming out of college. Like Rice, he set records that haven't been broken yet. Most forced fumbles with 16 and tired for most tackles for a loss with 75. So it's not like he was a fluke. He consistently ate up the competition. 

And that is my main issue with Goedert. He disappeared a lot. Show me where he set NCAA records. Show me where he's consistently racked up monster yardage. You're really reaching man. I am not saying he's not worth a draft pick. I am saying IMHO he's not worth a 1st RD pick because he's not even the best prospect at his position this year. I would take the more well rounded, more consistent, upper competitive players over him first. If he's there at the bottom of RD2 or RD3? Sure.... 

But I honestly see another Zach Miller type of player out of him. He may take a long, long time to develop into a decent pass catching TE at this level. And it may not happen for the original team that drafted him.

I want no part of Eifert or Graham. This draft class is too talented to pay those guys what they want.

I’d rather sign Burton (26 years old) and draft Gesicki.

I hope we get that tight end from Washington State. Forgot his name...

Hayden Hurst will be 25 before his rookie season begins. I would rather pay Trey Burton and draft one of the other guys Gisecki or Goedert.

I think we go best available offensive lineman in the first and take the leftover tight end in the second.

Trading back in the first would be ideal as I see the run on tight ends starting around the forties.
