Just got through with a solid draft at first-pick.com. Made a couple trade backs to load up with a lot of third round picks. Followed the team needs loosely. Did NOT draft a QB because of what options were there. Got both Samuels and Ballage. I don't recall which option RB/WR is used to select Samuels.
Even if the Jaguars trade back once from 1-29 this might be a year to do that. I don't think they are going to trade up...unless.
Here is the cut and paste:
Your Picks:
Round 2 Pick 29: McFadden, Tarvarus, CB, Florida State (A)
Round 2 Pick 32 (CLE): Guice, Derrius, RB, LSU (A)
Round 3 Pick 4 (HOU): Miller, Anthony, WR, Memphis (A)
Round 3 Pick 15 (ARI): Samuels, Jaylen, RB/WR, North Carolina State (A)
Round 3 Pick 16 (HOU): ONeill, Brian, OT, Pittsburgh (A+)
Round 3 Pick 29: Thomas, Ian, TE, Indiana (A)
Round 3 Pick 33 (ARI): Clapp, Will, C/OG, LSU (A+)
Round 4 Pick 3 (HOU): Watts, Armani, FS, Texas AM (A)

Round 6 Pick 29: Ballage, Kalen, RB, Arizona State (A+)
Round 7 Pick 12: Allen, Brian, C, Michigan State (A)
Round 7 Pick 29: Taylor, Rod, OG, Mississippi (A)
Why not give it a go and post the results? Doesn't cost to sign up. (if you don't already know that)
I get the whole BAP thing, but why are we taking 2-3 RBs? I don't think or want them to cut Yeldon really (although if we get these guys its certainly an option)

I would
love to get Derwin in the 1st. Idk how he'd fit but man that defense would be even more insane

Fournette, Yeldon, Ballage, Guice, and Grant.
Samuels will split workout time with a couple units. You can count him wherever you want.
Ballage ( 6' 1", 227 Lbs.) matches the size of Leonard fairly close, and Kalen ran a 4.46 forty at the Combine.
Special teams just got more competitive? Maybe so.
BTW, that was a total of twelve picks. Guess we move closer to becoming a revolving door franchise?
Had a second run...without making a trade.
Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 29: Allen, Josh, QB, Wyoming (A+)

That would sure be interesting. I do like Gallup and think Allen would be the ideal guy to develop behind Bortles, he's definitely not ready right now

Seems like you could do a quality one and it would be interesting
A new run. Traded back. Arizona got 1-29, Jaguars got 2-15, 3-15, and 3-33. Also, traded out of 2-29 due to a lack of matching value. (pretty generic B+ options) Detroit got 2-29 and Jaguars got 3-10 and 3-18.

Arizona took Lamar Jackson with 1-29. Jaguars got OG Isaiah Wynn (2-15), WR/RB Jaylen Samuels (3-15), and TE Ian Thomas (3-33). Lions took Nick Chubb with 2-29. Jaguars got FS Justin Reid, picked 3-10 graded (6.1) just slightly behind D. James (6.4 grade). Jaguars got a developmental QB, Kyle Lauletta, with 3-18.
I know it's completely unrealistic. But I would not mind this draft at all

I meant the trades. I don't think we will actually trade out of the first.

Traded 2018 1-29, 2018 3-29 & 2019 1-#? for Miami's 2018 1-11. Traded back a few times, but did not keep track of specifics.
Once again traded up. Arizona took 1-29 and 2019's first round selection for 1-15. Traded down with Buffalo in the second. Bills got 2-29 for 3-1 and 3-32. Then traded 3-1 to Tampa Bay for 3-5 and 4-8.
Here is the draft:
Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 15 (ARI): Allen, Josh, QB, Wyoming (A)
Round 3 Pick 5 (T.B.): Reid, Justin, FS, Stanford (A)

Round 7 Pick 12: Dickson, Michael, P, Texas (A)

Teams I offered to trade up with:
1. Cleveland - They declined picked Barkley
2. NY Giants - They declined picked Rosen
3. NY Jets - They declined picked Darnold
4. Cleveland - They declined picked Bradley Chubb
DID NOT HAVE TO MAKE A TRADE OFFER UNTIL
15. Arizona - They accepted 1-29 and 2019 1-#? for 1-15
You note the Jets and Indianapolis have traded picks.
Here is the detail of that deal:

Grab the Plan B QB, boost the offense, while building a little depth on Defense. Hopefully this year we'll be more consistent.
