First-pick.com Draft Game - Jaguars
|
Just got through with a solid draft at first-pick.com. Made a couple trade backs to load up with a lot of third round picks. Followed the team needs loosely. Did NOT draft a QB because of what options were there. Got both Samuels and Ballage. I don't recall which option RB/WR is used to select Samuels.
Even if the Jaguars trade back once from 1-29 this might be a year to do that. I don't think they are going to trade up...unless. Here is the cut and paste: Your Picks: Round 2 Pick 29: McFadden, Tarvarus, CB, Florida State (A) Round 2 Pick 32 (CLE): Guice, Derrius, RB, LSU (A) Round 3 Pick 4 (HOU): Miller, Anthony, WR, Memphis (A) Round 3 Pick 15 (ARI): Samuels, Jaylen, RB/WR, North Carolina State (A) Round 3 Pick 16 (HOU): ONeill, Brian, OT, Pittsburgh (A+) Round 3 Pick 29: Thomas, Ian, TE, Indiana (A) Round 3 Pick 33 (ARI): Clapp, Will, C/OG, LSU (A+) Round 4 Pick 3 (HOU): Watts, Armani, FS, Texas AM (A) Round 4 Pick 29: Smith, TreQuan, WR, Central Florida (A+) Round 6 Pick 29: Ballage, Kalen, RB, Arizona State (A+) Round 7 Pick 12: Allen, Brian, C, Michigan State (A) Round 7 Pick 29: Taylor, Rod, OG, Mississippi (A) Why not give it a go and post the results? I get the whole BAP thing, but why are we taking 2-3 RBs? I don't think or want them to cut Yeldon really (although if we get these guys its certainly an option)
Your score is: 19980 (GRADE: B)
Your Picks: Round 1 Pick 29: James, Derwin, SS/FS, Florida State (A+) Round 2 Pick 29: Hurst, Hayden, TE, South Carolina (A-) Round 3 Pick 36 (CINN): Cain, Deon, WR, Clemson (A+) Round 4 Pick 12 (CINN): Jackson, Donte, CB, LSU (A+) Round 4 Pick 29: Griffin, Shaquem, OLB, Central Florida (A) Round 6 Pick 29: Barrett, JT, QB, Ohio State (A-) Round 7 Pick 12: Adams, Tony, OG, North Carolina State (A+) Round 7 Pick 29: Dawkins, Dalyn, RB, Colorado State (A+) ![]() "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? I, who was born in a naked land and bred in the open sky. The subtle tongue, the sophist guile, they fail when the broadswords sing; Rush in and die, dogs - I was a man before I was a king." Samuels will split workout time with a couple units. You can count him wherever you want. Ballage ( 6' 1", 227 Lbs.) matches the size of Leonard fairly close, and Kalen ran a 4.46 forty at the Combine. Special teams just got more competitive? Maybe so. BTW, that was a total of twelve picks. Guess we move closer to becoming a revolving door franchise? We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

That would sure be interesting. I do like Gallup and think Allen would be the ideal guy to develop behind Bortles, he's definitely not ready right now

A new run. Traded back. Arizona got 1-29, Jaguars got 2-15, 3-15, and 3-33. Also, traded out of 2-29 due to a lack of matching value. (pretty generic B+ options) Detroit got 2-29 and Jaguars got 3-10 and 3-18.
