Thursday, October 27th
7:00 pm - #25 Virginia Tech at Pitt
Solid thursday night game against two teams playing pretty well.
Saturday, October 29th
12:00 pm - #10 West Virginia at Oklahoma State
Shoot out, although WV D is pretty good.
12:00 pm - #2 Michigan at Michigan State
Never thought this game would be a noon kick before the season started. Harbaugh will look to boat race Michigan State, could get ugly.
3:30 pm - #14 Florida vs. Georgia
Always a good one no matter how the season has gone for either team. Will be fun to see what each put in during the byes.
3:30 pm - Miami at Notre Dame
Catholics vs. Convicts. Let's go Miami
3:30 pm - #4 Washington at #17 Utah
Good game, UW playing good football.
7:00 pm - #7 Nebraska at #11 Wisconson
8:00 pm - #3 Clemson at #12 FSU
Another good match up. Like Fl-Ga, will be fun to see what's been added during the bye.
How about yours?
I may watch more of Virginia Tech and Pitt after watching the Jaguars yesterday.
Unfortunately Ohio State's game also is at 3:30. Regardless of their ranking I always watch the Buckeyes when they are on TV.
Florida should win easily, but I said that before the Vanderbilt game. I hope LDR got a lot of work in during the bye week.
Miami and Notre Dame are like Baltimore and Dallas for me. I will root for Notre Dame because Miami is ranked.
Florida-Georgia is always a toss up because it's a rivalry game and the same goes for Mich-OSU and Texas-Okla. Have been some bad teams playing in those games yet it always seems close. Which makes it so fantastic to watch(minus gary and Verne)! Also, very interested in the ND-U game. Hail, how good is the Mich Oline? I know Mich will destroy Sparty but just curious about the Malik McDowell match up for draft reasons.

Verne and Gary are always at that game.
Hail will just tell you good things about Michigan. He wears blue and maize glasses.
Michigan has a solid oline. Better at run blocking for sure, but pass pro isn't too shabby.

Michigan's offense is decent. Definitely not one of the best units (D-Line, DBs, WRs) or the worst (QB, K).
Is McDowell getting draft hype? I remember watching him play against a local high school in the Division 7 state championship. Michigan has 8 divisions so 7 is pretty small schools of about 280-400 kids. Our local team (Ishpeming) had no D1 size or talent so I (and everyone else) was expecting McDowell to dominate in what was being projected as a blowout. Ishpeming ended up pulling on a monstrous upset and McDowell didn't overwhelm like expected.
Granted that was 4 years ago and he was just a junior in HS.

Michigan returned 15 starters that suffered through this
I bet they are excited for Saturday.
FSU vs Clemson and Utah vs Washington have huge playoff implications. Will be glued to those games.
Can't wait for FSU vs Clemson myself. If FL GA is close this year I'm going to give up on football completely. I realize it's a rivalry game but that team just looks awful and the time to strike is now when their new coach is taking time to get his guys in and start a good team.
Nebraska at Wisconsin is a big game for both of those schools.
Wisconsin just beat Iowa. If the Badgers beat Nebraska, Wisc. controls it's own destiny toward the Big10 Championship Game.
Nebraska REALLY has to win this game, considering they have a trip to Columbus the following week against OSU.

They only control their own destiny if Nebraska also loses to Ohio St. (which by definition would mean they don't control their own destiny).

So if Nebraska loses to Ohio State, the Badgers control their own destiny after that game.
Of course, Wisconsin needs to beat Nebraska first. That one is one of the biggest games on Saturday.

This talk about destiny is funny. Ohio State doesn't control their own destiny... because Michigan is going to destroy it. Mwahaha.

In the grand scheme of things no one controls destiny.

Miami isn't ranked...

Maybe she meant they are rank.
I'll be watching the Georgia/Florida game...and hoping some way, some how, the Dawgs can get a victory.

That they are. They always suck outside of their superstar team 100 years ago.

I'm a Miami fan and it is tough. The Coker/Shannon/Golden hires have absolutely killed the program. I have faith Richt will get us back to respectability over the next few years but not confident if he can take us to playoff contention.
