Dude looks like Greg Jones! If he plays half as well as he looks, dude will be a total steal.
Great pick. His physique would lead me to believe that he is not afraid of hard work. His highlight video is insane. I’m glad to have this guy on our team.

That being said I think that Blair Brown starts barring injury. Blair really flashed last year in the opportunities that he was given and also will be the top backup at the mike and will spots imo.
I predict Jacobs will win the starting strong side linebacker job. He's exactly what we needed there.
If we wound up finding our SAM of the future this late in an already stacked draft class, I'm gonna be beyond thrilled.

He only has to beat out Blaire Brown and Larentee McCray. That's not exactly impossible.

Yeah I definitely wouldn't say his odds are "astronomically low".

Also interesting tidbit about Jacobs. He holds the record for most college games participated in at 59.
Looks like a walking PED violation.

Unseating Blaire Brown will be an daunting task.

NH3...
My guess is that since he bounced around position to position almost every year he doesn’t have the feel for the SAM spot yet. He will most likely get reps but I predict he will be our starter in 2019..you know, when we defend our SuperBowl title.
wow... lucky Jags..
Our SLB position isn't exactly rocket science in this defense. I think he'd be more than capable to win it based in physicality alone and then learn the nuances from Smith/Jack
He has better odds of being cut this year than starting.

Good depth and special teams player. Another Blair Brown type prospect. Curious to see what happens with that third LB spot to fill. Assuming it'll actually come down to Jacobs and Brown duking it out this summer for it. He's certainly a gym rat though so maybe that's a testament to his overall work ethic on and off the field.

59 games and still this raw of a talent?

We're getting more info on why he dropped so far.

Yep that and injuries are parts of it too.

You forgot to mention it above , what games were his worst in terms of run fits and reads?

You forgot to mention what games he excelled at.

You also have to take into account that Wisconsin has been a "LB factory" the last few years and they have a wealth of talent at the position. The injury to Jack Cichy also played into the situation as they shuffled guys around, to get the maximum potential.

Last year I'd probably go with FAU, Purdue and Iowa. His run fits were excellent in all of them.

If you watched him surely you would have some examples of where he did it poorly?

Indiana, Illinois, Northwestern.

All crappy teams.
Why do you keep arguing with me? I didn't make the pick.

Why don't you argue with the 32 front offices that thought this freak athlete wasn't worth more than a mid 7th rd draft pick?
