Colts former head coach Chuck Pagano said Monday that the presence of Andrew Luck in Indianapolis may have kept him around a little while longer.

That and the sympathy he received over his battle with cancer. Bruce Arians was always a better coach. If they would've made him head coach from the get go things probably would've turned out a lot different. I don't think Arians would've allowed Luck to take the punishment that he did under Pagano.

A lot of the punishment Luck has taken is that he holds onto the ball way too long. He's just not a quick decision maker like most mediocre qbs.
