Stud - Surgeon that fixed Bortles wrist. The wobble was absent most of his throws.

Duds - The WRs should have made catches and not dropped the properly placed balls. I have a feeling Keenan is going to light them up in the meeting room.
Game balls- the entire team.
Duds- none.

We won a road game. We're 1-0. That's all that counts.
Listening to some Jag fans, It's like AR15 has suddenly become Julio Jones or OBJ. He's a good receiver but he's not irreplaceable. They're different kinds of players but Cole had arguably an equally effective game yesterday. I guess it's a case of the turf always looking greener on the other field.

That said - Beckham indeed got open against Ramsey one on one a number of times. A bit more than I’d like to see for sure. There was also some good coverage mixed in.

Yeah there was a lot of zone mixed in and some of the zone was Ramseys responsibility. If you talk the trash Ramsey did you cant get beat the amount of times he did, not to mention the few times he got juked out of his shoes by OBJ.

I don't remember Ramsey ever talking trash about OBJ.   When did he do that?

All I can remember him saying was that OBJ is a great player.

He didnt talk trash about OBJ, they are friends
Of course Moncrief is a dud. Dude is horrible. I didnt understand all the love here when we first signed him. Its going to be just like last season that the offense and Bortles will hold us back.
Clockwork.

Orange
Norwel gets my biggest dud. Yeah he sat out all Pre season but you’re the highest paid guard in the league next to one of the best centers in the league. He needs to step it up. He played like an undrafted FA
Game Ball:
Calais Campbell - He was all over Flowers and was relentless throughout the game.
Barry Church - Made a few critical plays on third down.
Myles Jack - Played sideline to sideline and gave us the pick six.

Game Duds:
Donte Moncrief - Didn't contest for the football at all. Dropped an easy first down.
Cam Robinson - Drive killing machine yesterday. Just awful play.
Andrew Norwell - Gave up a sack and cost you a TD with a hands to the face penalty.

Like most things. I say just give it time. We can all revisit where Robinson is at in comparison to the rest of this receiving core by mid season. He looked good in last night's first half and then disappeared in the second half once the game started getting tightened up on Green Bay's side of things.

Dud
Offensive coaching staff for curling up like a turtle again
You just can't pay everyone. AR15 is a receiver coming off an ACL tear and could be a liability, jury is still out. Allen Hurns had one catch yesterday, where's the angst about letting him go?

On topic: game balls to Lambo, the DL and probably Barry Church; Duds to whoever took Smoot over Feeney and to the OL and their OL coach.
After re-watching the game..

STUDS -- Yeldon, Jack, Campbell, Ngakoue, Jackson, Abry Jones (tipped the pick 6 pass), Church was the only guy in the secondary that seemed to have a grip on what was going on. Cole made a great catch on the first drive.. but then disappeared. Fournette until he got hurt (again). Special Teams did well.

DUDS -- I expected more from the offensive line in this game, we really didn't dominate the trenches on that side of the ball at all. Norwell wasn't doing any better than Omameh had been for us. He looked like a road grater in that preseason game when we saw him in a game for the first time. It can take some time to gel but there is work to be done there, Bortles had a typical Bortles performance nothing great didn't lose it for us did just enough but he had the interception.. can't do that, Niles Paul dropped a TD it would have been a nice play but it bobbled in his face and he failed to corral it. Beckham honestly could have had 200 yards receiving and a couple TD's today if we weren't harassing Manning the way we were. I hate to say it but after all the talking Ramsey was a dud for me this week, the secondary as a whole had some weak zone coverage Engram was wide open a couple of times but again Manning had to hurry the throws and they were low and dropped.

Anyone not mentioned like Telvin Smith didn't stick out good or bad.

We should feel lucky to have won that. The 2-pt conversion stop was huge or they would have sent it to OT at the end. We have tape now to go watch what we need to correct so we lean on the coaches again and hopefully have a great showing in the AFCCG rematch at home. Getting Fowler back should help also.

There wasn't angst about losing Hurns because he's an easily replaceable average at best player. There is angst about losing Arob because he's the closest thing we've had to a blue chip receiving threat since Jimmy and Keenan. Pretty big difference.

The 2 point conversion was meaningless considering we won by 5 and we ending the game by kneeling in FG range.

Dud: Game planning and Blair Brown for that dumb as hell penalty.

I can't recall. What was Brown's infraction again and its outcome? The ST miscue?

A really dumb block in the back on a punt return.
Cheers Rico. I remember it, was slightly miffed by Senor's take as I didn't think that penalty affected the game that much. Then again, we were moved back, and eventually punted, giving them good field position, if I recall. So there's that.
A lot of people acting on the o line. They were actually fantastic in pass pro.

I think I read 1 sack and 2 pressures.

Pretty darn good.
