Jamal Adams. Or trade down and take Cam Robinson in the 1st and someone else (Dalvin Cook?) in the 2nd. And we'd also have the picks acquired in the exchange of 1sts.

Oh jesus, you're complaining about Fournette being injury prone and now you're saying youd rather have Dalvin Cook? At least Fournette played last year, Cook is already hurt again this year, sheesh.

I'd rather have Mahomes than Fournette too. But why do people insist on going back and criticizing draft picks with the power of 20/20 hindsight. This team wasn't going to draft a Rookie QB to start with a team that's in win now mode. When's the last time a Rookie QB won the superbowl(hint it's never happened.) We wanted a power running back to compliment our offense and that's what we got. I'd argue we got the best one in the draft, so we succeeded. End of story.

You can play pretend GM all you want and say you would've picked this guy or that guy.

The funny part is the perfect hindsight (non-QB) pick is a Safety lol

First off, I was just answering the question. If you read my previous posts you'd know that I was defending Fournette against those who complained about his injuries. I was just saying that Adams was the BAP (other than a QB) at our pick, and Cook was rated roughly comparable to Fournette, at least to the point that there were arguments about who would be the better pro. You generally can't predict injuries among the draft prospects (Sam Bradford being a notable exception).

In retrospect I think Fournette was the better choice for the Jags than Adams. Fournette fills a need. We have two excellent safeties, and Harrison looks to be very good too.
