Also agrees with reporter's assertion that they didn't necessarily have the wrong coverages called, but they would do it differently given the chance.
I, personally, think he's saying that the corners played too far off at times and we'd like to be more specific about when they can and can't do that.
Thank you very much man, I really appreciate you getting back to me on that.
Makes sense.
wait wait wait... now norwell is in a boot?? L O L this just keeps getting better. absolutely lovely, #cuzjaguars IS BACK BABY
why is richardson, our 4th round Tackle not an option to play LT??? i know he was supposed to play RT, but he has been inactive like every game, is he hurt too? I guess I should just assume so huh?

Marrone just flatly said "we have a couple of other options besides Walker."
And no, you shouldn't assume anything.
When
you start assuming this team is instantly relegated to last place in the AFCS and destined to waste away there for years to come. Please don't entertain the pessimistic depths of your imagination.

I wonder how much Coughlin gets involved in game day decisions. I figured Coughlin would whisper in Marrone’s ear to make certain adjustments.

I think he's much more likely a vocal presence in post game film sessions than game day stuff.
I imagine he lets his opinions fly on things to fix moving forward more than game day decisions. Just my gut instinct in how he's involved.
If I were him, I'd be dropping by Hackett's office a bit more often to check up on his intended approach for individual upcoming opponents.

Like WTH where you thinking needing a yard for a fist and 3 for a TD?? you wanted this team to be a running team Run the Bleeping Ball - What i think TC said or should have
Ugh Blake Bortles is back in effect and is going to bring back managed coaching. Hate it but gotta go with what you got. At least we have some wins already.
Did anyone happen to ask if we were one of the many teams reportedly in on Rishard Matthews?
I hope we start plugging some of these holes

Need a LT a whole lot more unfortunately
ESPN is reporting the Giants will release Ereck Flowers tomorrow. I hope to God, we resist the urge to sign him. He sucks!

Not happening. Flaherty doesn't like him anyway.

- roster moves upcoming
- injuries are disappointing, attrition plays a role, next guys have to step up
- Wells is a groin injury - gonna be week to week - Walker is an option - couple of other options too
- I trust personnel dept to acquire new players - obvious we have to do that
- as coaches - with injuries - we have to coach to the strengths available to us - then players have to execute
- Why not run in the redzone? We thought about going to "goalline" but liked getting a one on one in cover zero better as a matchup. Situational football. Not going to defend a bad decision. Donte's made that play before - we weren't able to make it.
- Norwell in boot - but should be OK
- Have an idea on Hayden and Fournette Wednesday when we see them run a little bit
- On Parnell: Gotta do a better job. Ford had a good game.
- I've gone through multiple injuries before. In the week of prep you look at how to implement the new guys. Evaluate what he can do and how to get him up to speed. How do we attack after roster changes?
Situational football? Is 3rd and 1 and 4th and 1 at your opp 3 yard line not situational football? YOU RUN THE BALL THERE... Especially when you just ran it down their throat for 2/3's of that drive. This crap isn't rocket science.
And honestly I'm over them trying to force feed Moncrief the football. He has the team leading 40 targets, yet only has 15 catches. That is not good.

I couldn't agree more. I'd like to see them get Chark some more opportunities. Moncrief just seems like a waste of a down to throw to.

Chark should get all of Moncrief's deep targets imo.
You'd be hard pressed to find another WR who gives less effort trying to track and go get the football in the air than Moncrief does.
The zone crap has got to go sometimes. Why are we paying bout all that money, and why is Ramsey considered one of the best corners in the league when you play soft zone with them 90% of the time? It’s ridiculous.

It takes three to tango for a deep ball to work.
Offensive line has to block well, which they haven’t.
Receivers have to get open and/or go up and make the play when it’s there... and too many times they haven’t been able to do that.
Blake has to put the ball where it needs to go.
All it takes is one of those to not do their job and the deep ball doesn’t work. Face it, we don’t have ARob anymore where Blake could just throw it in his general direction. Blake is inaccurate and struggles with those types of passes.. he has poor touch most of the time.
I do agree that Chark should get some deep bomb attempts thrown his way. We know it won’t be super accurate but hopefully he learns to go up and get it so to speak.

You must have not seen Chark make his 2 catches this past Sunday? A 38 yard catch and a 30 yard catch.
Both were deep balls where he tracked the football in the air and made clutch catches, while getting PI'd both times. He showed more on those 2 catches alone, than Moncrief has shown in the entire first 5 games.

Yes I saw the two catches, and that was encouraging.
But prior to that, Chark has been a complete dumpster fire at WR this year. So I’m sorry I’m not going to just give him a ton of reps if you take his entire body or work into play.

If you think Chark has been a complete dumpster fire this year on his limited snaps, then I'd love to know what you think of Moncrief right now LOL.
And nobody said anything about giving him a ton of reps... I clearly said that he should be getting the deep targets instead of Moncrief.
And just stop with that entire body of work crap. He's a rookie that has played in 5 games with limited snaps. He isn't a 5th year Vet like Moncrief is, all while looking like a hot mess.
