Hahahaha this thread tickles my funny bone

Really?
Has the team played well the past two weeks? No.
Is the season over? No. As it stands now we are still tied for first in the division.
The team has problems with injury, and teams are exploiting them.
But Marrone isn't trash by a long shot.
I can't recall an NFL team being without it's top RB, WR, TE, and LT at the same time. The LT situation is even more pronounced being the Jaguars are down to their # 3 option at the position.
Though the Jaguars Defense is capable of playing much better than has been the case the last 2 games ( I think they will turn things around ), the Jaguars Offense in it's present state is overmatched. Getting back a relatively healthy version of Leonard Fournette ASAP seems essential for the Jaguars chances of having a good outcome this season.
Like what was said earlier the coaching and staff we have now all turned a 3-13 worthless team into a deep playoff team in just a single off-season. Whatever that mojo was is apparently gone. But to blame one person and especially the guy that brought the change necessary to get us legitimately interested in Jaguars football again is quite the reach. The team is in an identity crisis and signing guys off the street to fill important voids. It's apparent we aren't really game planning well with those pieces and new guys like Moncrief aren't really helping matters. Niles Paul gets hurt because Hackett thought it would be cute to do a misdirection toss to the tight end in the middle of the backfield. The defense is straight up disappointing these past couple of weeks. They have simply not shown up. I don't know who is to blame there but it isn't Bortles, Marrone, injuries, the staff. This team lets mobile QB's beat them multiple ways and it's extremely annoying. Watson is banged up and looks terrible compared to last year but I'm sure he'll have a field day in Duval. We leaned on our front 4 to apply pressure constantly every game and it isn't happening this year. Sacksonville is pretty much a thing of the past already. With basically the same staff and defense we've gone from one of the most opportunistic defenses in the NFL to just getting drug up and down the field all game long... I mean we gave up 40 points to a team with a bad offense at best.
doug Marone did excet same thing in bufflo turned the team around in one year from a loseing record. after that one winning year they went stright down hill again, starting with a 8-8 record after the winning year. History is repeating itself.
Yeah with the Bills He went 6-10 his first year then 9-7 his second year so your completely wrong . Nice try .
It is stupid although you have to admit that the idea of bringing in Bill Walsh as coach, even just as interim, is pretty interesting. He died in 2007 but may still have something left in the tank.
This thread is gold

Can we go after Vince Lombardi?
I hear Tom Landry's available. Maybe we could kick the tires on him.

This team is set up to matriculate the ball down the field, clearly Hank Stram is the only right answer.

I was having some cocktails with him last night. He said he is not interested.
I don't know....this actually does look a little intimidating if you look across the sideline and see this staring back at you. He might have a point?

I remember when you said this. I typed an email to Khan and told him not to hire Marrone and rethink his decision. I laid out the facts that you mentioned and he said, "Snowwolf is a Titans owner in Madden and I hate the Titans! " I emailed him back saying wait, "He owns the Titans, meaning he beats them all the time." He never responded. I think Khan blocked me.
This thread just keeps getting better. Hahahaha
Two words: Paul Brown.
Three more words: Paul freaking Brown!

Not that I keep a detailed inventory of injuries on other teams, I am with you that I haven't seen that many injuries on one side of the ball before.
Damn... Bullseye had to throw in some damned common sense. Ummm... does this mean the witch hunt is over?

Oh snap. I really feel like we were almost getting through here at the Tom Landry seance in my attic.
We've made contact, just haven't convinced him to cross back over yet. Keeps mumbling something about "gruden level failure" but it gets lost in the livestock sounds.
Maybe I should just extinguish all of these candles and return my neighbor's goats now...
Lol. Folks quickly forget how bad the previous coach was! Doug is a pro. He ain't the problem.
