Quote:It's the 4th most important game of Gus coaching career this year.

Who are we kidding? This guy is made of teflon and is unfireable.
People are so quick to dub a game a coaches most important, or a must win game. Hell every year we go 0-2 and you and your buddies start the "this is a must win game rabble rabble" thread. There's not usually any real or tangible reason (other than stopping the bleeding) though. This game is noticeably different because it feels personal, and we've been sticking our necks out all offseason. Losing to JDR in our house after all we've been through would be the biggest gut shot I could see happening to Jags fans. This is gonna be an emotional game that both coaches are going to want bad, and if Gus flops I might even come borrow one of your pitchforks. Big game for sure.
Yeah this next game is huge. AFC matchup.

San Diego was the biggest game of Gus Bradley's HC career and he failed miserably.

Lots of people were excited how well we played the Packers and SD was a statement game.
The world will realize the Jags should have drafted Carr next Sunday. Bottles has been stinking it up this year.

Have you watch Derek Carr play today? If not then go take a shower and wash the stink off your face.

Are you like me in the phone auto corrects Bortles to Bottles and you don't even care to change it because it doesn't even matter? Lol
KC being nice to the raiders and not going to score on them once more. I hope we are in this situation next week lol Raiders looked like poo today for sure.

Jags 42- Raiders 10. Boom.

You proved my point. SD was by no means a must win or super important game. An AFC match up, but really that's it. I was there, and I - as a known member of the human species - didn't really have any emotions going into that game like I feel now. It sucked to get dominated, but we didn't go in there with the season on the line. The closest must win game we've had was Indy, and we pulled it off.

This game? This one's personal, everyone knows it, including JDR and Gus. Getting blown out by San Diego was embarrassing, but it pales in comparison to the feelings and emotions that would come from getting embarrassed at home by the team everyone compares us to and the coach that we didn't want because of Gus.

Gus is finally at an obvious crossroads here (no matter how many dummies think that's already happened), where times running out. If he wins and goes on a 3 game streak, people will start to believe again (players coaches fans). If he loses badly, you can finally pat yourself on the back for saying Gus wasn't the guy all along.

You are the dummy for thinking he can actually change. He is what he is. You have seen his best.
We goan win

48-45
Interesting match-up. Raiders have to have doubt after the whooping they took at home against KC. On the other hand, we're still waiting for a "good" game from the Jaguars this year.

Hey man, I'm just pointing out the obvious opportunity at hand for Gus. Your problem is you and the crew have spent so much time painting yourselves in an anti-Gus corner, I'm sure you can't even see what a win here could potentially start for this team. Quick, when's the last 3 game winning streak we've had? When's the last time our new head coach beat our former head coach, in our house?

But hey, theres good news, you guys might even be right in the end about Gus after all! I make it a point to not be so adamant either way, so I don't look like a dummy if I whiff. This IS a huge game.
I think we lose 17-33

Or does that make them even more determined?..

Not here

Did we get it?
Which team will be favored in this game and by how much?

The Jags or the Raiders?

Raiders, surely?

No one likes us.

Not even us.
I agree. Raiders will be favored by about 3 points. They have played great on the road and the Jags have yet to win in Jacksonville.
