I'm really starting to re-think what we should do to get things turned around. With all the key injuries on the O-Line, Bortles play seemingly on the decline and the coaching staff not having a plan in place to adjust to the situation, drafting to replace older, high priced, outgoing defensive players doesn't seem like the right strategy anymore. Something has to be done on the offensive side of the ball and all these high priced, "stars" on defense, just aren't getting it done. I'm not saying we need to dismantle the defense, but maybe we should take one or two of those high priced defensive stars and dangle them as trade bait in order to get immediate help on the offensive side of the football. One idea was mentioned earlier and I believe it is worth bringing back up. Dante Fowler is likely gone after this season. The Niners need a solid pass rusher. We need immediate help on the O-Line. Joe Staley is 34 years old, but graded out as the 2nd best LT in the NFL in 2017. Regardless, San Francisco will likely be looking to draft his replacement fairly soon. The Rams went out and got Andrew Whitworth in free agency and he's even older than Staley. That move worked out great for L.A. I'd at least call the Niners and see if we could work a trade. I'd offer Fowler, Wells and a 3rd or 4th round selection in order to acquire Staley. It would definitely all be dependent on Fowler agreeing to sign a long term deal with the Niners, but it's worth seeing if a deal could get done. If so, I'd immediately install Staley at LT and Robinson would move to RT in 2019. I'd cut Jeremy Parnell and I'd use our 2nd round in 2019 to find an OG, as Cann is an UFA and I'd let him walk. By adding Staley, I truly believe we'd be upgrading both the LT and RT positions, as I believe Robinson has a much better future on the right side. Possibly Pro Bowl potential.

Terron Armstead is another OT I would inquire about. Obviously he is younger and would cost more, but he graded out as one of the top 5-7 LT's in 2017. I believe he would be worth the cost. This could be Drew Brees' signed a massive 2 year deal which keeps him in New Orleans through 2019. The Saints may be looking to save some money and they did draft Ryan Ramzyk who has looked pretty darn good and was a LT in college. If they decided to trade Armstead, Ramzyk could slide over to the left side, so acquiring him would not be so far fetched. The Saints are probably better at both OT positions, than almost any other team in the league. I wouldn't be opposed to trading a high draft pick or a "star defensive" player at this point, maybe a combination, in order to fix problems on the offense. Especially for a guy like Armstead, who is at the pinnacle of his career.

Obviously, this doesn't fix our QB situation, underwhelming play by the defense or poor game planning by the coaches, but one step at a time.
I'm not giving SF all that for a 34 year old LT... I will give them a 4th rounder, and because their season is done, they should take it, if not then hang up, they sure as hell arent getting fowler included

If your not willing to give up something, this team will never get turned around. Why would they get rid of the 2nd rated LT in the NFL, for a 4th round pick? That makes no sense.

Hes 17th this year, so looks like there is some decline there. Hes also 34 years old. Doesnt make no sense to me.
I'm pretty sure that half priced booze at the game Sunday will put things back on track. If not no one will give two [BLEEP] because we'll be so hammered.
My biggest fix, when your RB is averaging more than 5 yards per carry give him more than 7, 8, and 10 carries (TEN, DAL, and KC games respectively).

This!  Plus it has the advantage of opening up play action.  And gravitate to quick hit passes and roll outs.
Idea: Run the damn ball.
send my video to the jags this week once i have it made.

What people forget is that the team signed a RB that could prove to be a very good weapon.  IF Fournette is healthy and IF TJ Yeldon is healthy you also have a pretty good 3rd guy in Jamaal Charles.  By now he should have a pretty good grasp of the system.  Those three combined could change the offense.

Defense I'm not worried so much.  I can see Watson getting sacked 5+ times and probably throws a couple of picks.  The D line can put pressure on opposing QB's and in particular someone that plays like Watson.

The bottom line is that I don't see too much as far as changes to get the team back on track, rather I see a better match-up.  Get the running game going early and often, go to play action later on offense.  Defense get after the QB.

Regarding the O line, just keep plugging in players that you already have.  The whole key is the run game.  If Fournette is ruled out, then the team is in big trouble.
With Bortles it doesn’t matter. We’ve all tried so hard to accept him but we just need to play Tebow offense. Just run it 2 times then see what he can do on 3rd, then back up and punt and pray the defense can hold or get a turnover.

Take a deep shot here and there.

because they are 1-5? now I think right?  Their season is done, their star QB is out for the year.  Admittedly, I do not know his contract, so if they have their LT locked up for a few more years then sure, maybe they hold him, then again, he's 34, and their season is done.

I'm not saying they would give him up for a 4th, but I am not giving them anywhere close to as much as you offered for him, getting him probably still isn't enough to fix this team's issues this year tbh

Since your videos are not hype anymore I believe they are the reason the team is struggling. Skip the video this week as a test.

my videos are still hypeing up videos. have you not watched them?  I just can't holler, and scream at work cause they will think im being attacked by a bear. I'm not going to skip makeing a video. I will still support the team no matter how bad they are.
There's not going to be any trades to grab an aging player in decline. They drafted a tackle this year, and they grabbed the best option available off the street. That's going to have to do for now.

The only way to get this team back on track is to get the key guys who aren't on the IR healthy and back on the field.
We just need to get Wolfie and his dad to go to the sports bar to watch the game. When they watch the Jags from home, they lose.

We really need a blowout win, so maybe Wolfie and his dad should watch the game from a gentleman's club instead.  Let's raise the bar, Wolfie!!!

Overreaction.

Blake had a bad (turrible) game week before last.  Last week was NOT on him.  Nobody expects (or should expect) him to bring us back from multiple TDs down. Defense had a bad game.  Period.

Can't tell if this is sarcasm or not but I do expect my franchise QB to bring us back.
