Sorry, I didn't mean Arob doesn't run the routes he's used to cause he does, they are just like a round hole square peg fit with the rest of what the offense is succeeding with. What he's trying to do sticks out like a sore thumb compared to everyone else.

And that's where I attribute the blame to Mitch. The routes to Arob are there to take advantage of but it  in order to maximize Arob you need to trust him on contested catches and let him make a play. Mitch can't do that and so I guess to your point, he is a square peg in a round hole once he's not being used in that manner.

I still remain an Arob "truther" but it is kind of funny Arob>Nuk used to be a thing
When will this topic ever die I wonder?

When we get a good WR.

Able to catch a pass is a good start.

Surely you jest right? Sigh...here we go.

Dede Westbrook 33 rec to 48 targets catches 68.75% of passes thrown to him. With 3 drops his catch to drop ratio is 11 catches for every 1 drop

Donte Moncrief 29 rec to 56 targets catches 51.79% of passes thrown to him. With 3 drops his catch to drop ratio is 9.7 catches for every 1 drop

Keelan Cole 29 rec to 49 targets catches 59.18% of passes thrown to him. With 7 drops his catch to drop ratio is 4.1 catches every 1 drop

DJ Chark 12 rec to 23 targets catches 52.17% of passes thrown to him. With 2 drops his catch to drop ratio is 6 catches every 1 drop

Reception stats from ESPN
Drop stats from FOXSPORTS

So Inziladun please come up with a more sound argument than "catching a pass is a good start."
Oh, wow, you were being serious. Yeah you're totally right, our receivers can catch balls, they're the greatest.
PFT just reported that Allen Robinson is groin to be back on the field this week for the Bears.
I agree with Caldwell on both of these players.

This team was built to be a run first offense. As one poster mentioned receivers are a dime a dozen and going into the season I believed that ASJ would lead the team in targets, being a primary option on short routes on third towns to move the chains.

We have a trio of young receivers who are locked into cheap deals under their rookie contacts. Westbrook has continued to develop and could very well become a solid 2nd to 3rd WR in this league. Chark was a futures pick who will work his tail off and continue to develop.

Moncreif will probably be gone next year as I believe that the team will draft another WR next year. In hindsight, it probably would have been better to have kept Shane Wynn in that spot.
The problem is that one poster, and Vic, were wrong. WRs are not a dime a dozen.
They really aren’t a dime a dozen.

It's only a run first offense because management doesn't trust Bortles to throw the ball.

At the NFL level, there is NO position at which decent players are a dime a dozen.

Westbrook and Chark are cheap, but Moncreif has done nothing to prove he's worth the money.
A Rob with 2 big plays already
arob hasn’t been thrown the ball there bc it’s been weird games. he’s a number 1
A Rob another TD

He will be out of league in 2 years..... and he is lazy route runner.
Robinson has one good game and he's Hopkins level good now? I'm done with this conversation.
