the game shouldn't of came down to bad calls from the refs. yes bad calls inthe end,but Jags HC cost them the game again. Going away from what was working.

They had an INT taken away due to the bogus roughing the passer penalty , which gave them the ball back and a free 15 yards. Then on the very next play they called a late hit penalty that gave them another 15 free yards.
Their 2nd scoring drive was kept alive and jump started by one of the most bogus face masking penalties I've ever seen, which also gifted them a free 15 yards. Went from their own 25 yard line, to their 44 yard line. Huge difference in field position and turned what would have been a 3rd and 2, into a fresh set of downs.
They called Defensive holding on Hayden I think it was, at the end of the game in our end zone, when Malik Jackson was very clearly being held on that same play.
We had 3 penalties called on us in the 1st half... Two of which were Offensive Holding. One by Westbrook and one by Shatley. The other was a 12 man in the huddle penalty. Both of those holding calls that got called back, would have been a converted first down as well.
They had 2 of their penalties in the 1st half. The first one was an Illegal shift (5 yards), only 6 minutes into the game. The 2nd was an Illegal Contact penalty on Haden. Meaningless 5 yard penalty, considering we had a positive gain on that play and converted a first down. Was 3 minutes left in the 1st quarter at that time. Their 3rd and final penalty was yet another 5 yarder... A false start with like 3 minutes left in the 3rd quarter and two plays later Gipson busted coverage on Brown's long TD.
1st drive of the 2nd half, Parnell got called for a Holding penalty which turned a 3rd and 2 into a 3rd and 12. We got sacked the next play and punted. I could go on and on and on but I've over it honestly... They had 2 penalties in the 1st half, we had 3. They had 1 in the 2nd half and we had 8... [BLEEP]. I simply don't understand how we continue to get multiple Offensive Holding penalties called on us every game. But other teams never get a single Offensive holding call against them when going against our DL. Our DL is being held constantly and it's never called for us. It's getting beyond the point of one sided reffing and it's pathetic.
Marketability. Run first offense, defense, and BORTLES? Hell.... I'd do the same thing if i'm Goodell... nobody wants to watch this trash it's why we got flexed. END OF THE DAY.... the game should of been longgggggggg over man. Long over. Excuses excuses, but the win was there.... the team lost it. Coaches and players... they lost it. Not the refs.

So you literally just said that you believe the league and officiating is rigged and bias against us, but it's wrong for people to bring this up and complain about it??

The Hayden call was a facemask where he turned JuJu's helmet pretty decently. I can't complain about that call; in a NFL where head injuries rule are that's going to get called more often than not. I can complain about how late the flag was and how strongly the ref who was late to throw the flag was arguing for the flag though - that felt uncomfortable, for lack of a better word.
I don't remember the Haden penalty. Did the Jags decline that? Wasn't there another "procedural" foul called on the Steelers on one of Lambo's kicks that was their 3rd flag?
The rest of your post is spot on. And to add a bit: don't forget that the Jags needed to use a challenge on Ramsey's first interception and Fournette's touchdown - two plays that if called correctly would have been automatically reviewed anyway - and then called Ben's gamewinning touchdown, which was just as questionable as Fournette's, a touchdown on the field.
Today was the final straw for me. In a season of questionably called games (I think it was the first Titans game where they were bearhugging the Jags d-line and didn't get called for a single hold, while the Jags managed to get called for multiple holds? And was it the Jets game where Darnold took the playclock all the way to 0 and then waited another 2-3 seconds to hike the ball, twice, without a delay of game called either time?), today broke me (not to mention, the general shafting the Jags have gotten by the refs in general throughout the years. Remember when the NFL admitted they missed 16 blatant calls against the Packers in a game the Jags lost by one possession? Lol.). By midway through the 3rd quarter I had no doubt the Jags were not going to win with how the calls were going. Now, the Jags did enough to lose the game all on their own, so I won't blame reffing for the loss. But the whole "competition" thing went out the window with the discrepancy in penalties called and ignored. I'll sit out the rest of the season and see if next year is less WWE-esque.

They called holding and while he did grab his receiver, there was a far more blatant holding against Malik Jackson on that same play. Jackson would have sacked (and if not sacked, he would have hit him and been all over in his face) Ben, but he was clearly held. It was as blatant as the fact is that water is wet.

Personally, I think the rule was put in place to eliminate the obvious sack situations where the defender has a clear stranglehold on the QB and intentionally enforces his weight on the QB to inflict pain, which is NOT what Calais and Yannick did on 2 separate occasions.
