Nothing official - but I'm sure more names will surface in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, here's an interesting list of potential candidates:

Looks like Bevell is the guy folks. According to in the know people at least.

Wouldn't hate it. I would be fine with either Bevell or Monken. What we absolutely have to get right is the QB choice, the right side of the oline and finally drafting a playmaker at TE. Not really concerned about the OC if it's one of those 2 guys but way more concerned about the QB and TE choices with this FO.

Where are you seeing this?
Well, looks like it's gonna be Kyler Murray

If this happens, it won't matter who we draft. We'll be throwing bubble screens on 3rd and long.

I think you're wrong about that.

Yup, makes no sense to get Haskins, just wasting his talent.  Kyler Murray is the logical choice.

I'll need more than a fan tweet to be convinced, but it makes some sense given the browns interview for Monken.

He's really the only person I've seen break any stories related to the Jags. Had the London arrests hours before anyone.

I think you're wrong about that.

Did you watch the Seahawks when he was OC? I did. Every other pass was a bubble screen.
Is this the guy that called a pass on 1st and goal from the one with marshawn Lynch in the backfield during the super bowl?

question: why would someone call so many bubble screens...
We all may not agree on Bevell's style of offense. But one thing's for sure. He knows how to get points on the board. At one point in Seattle he had them in the top ten in scoring offense four straight years in a row. You would have to go all the way back to the 97' - 00 run when Coughlin was here the last time this franchise managed to have that much consistency on offense.

And he's coached in two Superbowl games. I don't know why any fan would be against a guy like Bevell at this point. I don't care if he runs it down a team's throat. I don't care if he bubble screens it up and down the field and calls for a deep shot maybe twice a game. I don't care if they draft Murray or Haskins. He'll find a way to get that damn football inside the end zone. And that's ultimately all that matters.

He's been an OC in the NFL for 12 solid years. We've had a couple of duds over the years. Koetter was maybe half way decent when we had him in Jacksonville. But Olson? That other guy from Miami? Who else? Musgrave? Meh. This offense needed a face lift. Bevell should be able to get it done.

Because they're stupid.
I’m totally fine with Bevell or Monken.

You are grossly exaggerating and also assuming he won't tailor a playbook to a roster or gameplan for opponents.

Golden Tate had an impressive yards per catch rate going under Bevell for a guy that only catches bubble screens.
(14-15 ypr)

Just seems like an incredibly oversimplified "analysis."

I was curious to what extent your take was exaggerated so I pulled up a random game from the 2013 season. Seahawks vs Texans week 4. I just watched all of the seahawks first half drives.

One screen pass.
To Marshawn Lynch.
Went for 35 yards.

the answer i was looking for is : because when you have the worst pass blocking line in the league you NEED to call quick hitters like bubble screens and such to keep the rush away. Its imperative to the gameplan

My issue with Bevell is it seems pretty certain they're gonna stick to running it as much as possible.

Bevells run play % rank as playcaller:

2007: 2nd
2008: 5th

2014: 2nd
2015: 4th

2017: 20th
