We would probably have to give up a 2nd to ensure we get our guy, but TBH I am unsure if I like giving up a 2 and a future pick to move up to 4, though based on last year's Jets-Colts trade, that makes some sense.

I'm thinking perhaps the compensation should be a little less considering the picks in question are a little lower, this is not viewed as strong a QB class as last year and there is less demand at the top for QBs this year.
If the Jaguars love Haskins and they don't have to give up next year's first pick, this would be a great deal. They'd still need to pick up a veteran "bridge" quarterback who won't be too costly (not Foles) to start next season. Despite giving up this year's 2nd rounder, the Jags can still get solid players in rounds 3 and 4 to address needs at tight end, wide receiver and offensive line. With the money they're saving on not paying Foles, they can also fill needs at these positions.

I would just keep Blake as the "bridge".
Man, I can't say I'm a big fan of the picks in 3 and 4

I kinda prefer Oakland's picks of White and Montgomery in our two spots, and then grab one of the other QB, or live with a band aid free agent till next season.

Other than the Jalen Jelks pick, (which I don't like), I'd be pretty happy with this draft. I obviously love the Haskins pick and I really like the Bobby Evans selection as well. Personally, I see a lot better options at WR than Lodge though, but i could live with it. Jelks is not a good pass rusher though. He's been a disappointment.

No.

He makes the most sense financially and he is going to be with a new OC who is known for maximizing his QBs potential.
