Does anyone have a memory of a great Gratz play? In all seriousness I don't remember him having a signature GOOD play. Just a bunch of bad plays.
he will end with the patriots and become a good player

He had a pick 6 against Houston 2 years ago, and he actually had a very solid rookie season.
I remember the pick 6. He always seemed like a sure tackler, just always have up the catch/yards first.

Quote:I could see the Ravens giving him a shot. Man, they are bad at defensive back (only 1 guy worth a darn,, Jimmy Smith).

Being that the Ravens also have a history of former Jaguars players ending up with them,  it wouldn't surprise me in the least if this is where Dwayne Gratz ends up.
Quote:I can see Carolina signing him.

Last night's horrific game certainly reinforces what you mentioned.

Three other teams that come to mind as realistic possibilities are the Saints, Bears,  and Lions.  In the Lions case,  the combination of the Kyle O'Brien connection and the team having more questions than answers beyond the top 3 CBs on the roster makes Dwayne Gratz ending up with the team a realistic possibility.
Quote:Change the word "most" to "a few," and I'll buy this.

I wish him well, but I must admit, when I first read that Gratz had been waived to make room for Colvin, I smiled for a few seconds.

What facets of play especially do you believe Dwayne Gratz needs to improve on to be on an NFL roster for the next few seasons?   How much of his struggles do you believe could be coaching related?

Amen. "Locker room shot"
Quote:Because Dave was scouting and evaluating players at his previous job too, he just wasn't the GM, but he was looking at and evaluating the same players that Gene and his scouts, and 30 other teams were looking at and evaluating...
People making excuses for a poor job being done. Over 20 pro bowlers were selected in that draft, you have to get something out of it. He just did a bad job I his first draft.
I could see the Dolphins signing him. They already signed Branch in the offseason and also signed Sam Young today.

Running the defensive play that was called would be a good start.
Cyp gotta go too man. Im sorry

Oh yeah true that, I forgot about his pick 6. I remember him being solid rookie year, just nothing stood out to me for as much as he has bern here. He will only be remembered by me for paying with bubblegum.

Physical mistakes are one thing.   Sometimes a player just isn't good enough on a play.   Mental mistakes along the lines you mentioned are another and far worse.
Signed by the Rams

There were 20 pro bowlers selected from the 2013 draft?

Trumaine Johnson,  who had a tremendous game in the Rams upset win over the Cardinals,  injured his ankle against the Bills.   This probably contributed heavily in them claiming Dwayne Gratz off waivers.   Interestingly,  all of the teams with losing records passed on Gratz.   I'm not sure if the 3-2 Ravens are ahead of the 3-2 Rams in the current Waiver Claim process.

If Jags = Seattle South and Phins = Jags South, then Phins = Seattle South

Looks like the Dolphins road to becoming Seattle South runs through Jacksovnville !!!  They obviously saw how well our rebuild was going so they devised a similar plan.  I assume all of the teams are going to copy our blueprint for success.
