I counted 15 drafted and 1 undrafted.

What do The Jaguars know that the Rams don't know...

so 15 players out of 254 drafted were picked for the pro bowl...that doesn't seem like a lot...I suppose 2013 should be compared to other drafts to see the difference
http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2013/4/27/42...nd-results
Just quickly checking and going back 5 years for comparison here's how it breaks down:
2008: 26
2009: 25
2010: 37
2011: (the Goobert draft) 26
2012: 20

so the people who are saying the 2013 draft was weak have some support for their claim... It would be interesting to see how many draftees from 2013 are still playing as opposed to the other drafts, but I'm too lazy to look all that up
Me too, lol. It is interesting though, because it appears there were more misses than hits.

I expect Gratz to get some pick sixes out of nowhere for the Rams soon.
Lol, Don't the Rams play in London this week?

Wow, so 2010 was a tremendous draft with Pro Bowlers galore. So let's take a look at the Jaguars 2010 draft...
For starters, our GM ended up giving most of our picks away. We ended up with a 1st, a 3rd, 2 5ths and 2 6ths. I guess it was only the other GMs that realized this is draft where you want to have top picks. So here's how Gene Smith did...
<p style="margin-left:40px;">
1 (10 overall) - DE Tyson Alualu - reached hard while sleeping on many future Pro Bowlers
<p style="margin-left:40px;">
3 (74 overall) - DT D'Anthony Smith - he never could overcome his injury issues
<p style="margin-left:40px;">
5 (143 overall) - DE Larry Hart - complete bust, but of course many 5th round picks are
<p style="margin-left:40px;">
5 (153 overall) - DE Austin Lane - a mediocre 4-3 LDE
<p style="margin-left:40px;">
6 (180 overall) - RB Deji Karim - fast and shifty; decent KR but easily the wimpiest player ever; avoided contact at all costs even when blocking
<p style="margin-left:40px;">
6 (203 overall) - S Scotty McGee - I barely recognize the name
In other words, we totally whiffed away one of the best drafts of our time.
I would laugh....but this is absolutely heartbreaking.

I can't believe how loaded that first round is, even into the second its pretty good. From there its pretty hit or miss the rest of the draft.
Vic used to say that if you're not improving you're falling behind. In the 2010 draft, many teams significantly improved. The total whiff that year by Gene Smith in the 2010 draft went a long ways toward decimating this franchise as the Jaguars fell behind team after team. You could tell in year two when Shad Khan and Mularkey took over and the Jaguars had their worst season ever. Fortunately our new owner knew to part ways with our GM after his first season of exposure to the epic failure that is Gene Smith.
