Yeldon has averaged 4.6 ypc over the last couple years, hes a good pass catcher, and good blocker

I'd definitely be good with that. Especially with an accurate QB for him.

He probably would’ve been re-signed had he not had his episode on week 17. Im not really sure if the FO even want Fournette and Yeldon in the same room again, especially since they are trying to get home to Fournette.
I would have loved Verrett here.

Don't expect them to go after a RB though.

This aged well

I chuckled quite loudly at the site of that raiders pic... it aged like a can of Steal Reserve malt liquor.

I wouldn’t mind a cheap Jordy Nelson. He was cut so, expectedly his market went south this past season with chucky, as did the rest of the team other than Cook.

What are everyone's thoughts on Jay Ajayi? He's only 25, can probably come affordably, and already is familiar with Foles/Flip. He made $2m last year, so could probably come in fairly cheap. Given that he hasn't signed yet, I wonder if he's looking for a bigger contract than teams see his value, or in our case, if Flip has already given the FO the scoop on him, and advised to pass.

I would think any veteran RB target would be 3rd down back/scat back. Above average receiver and blocker, and maybe can be motioned out. Ajayi has not proven he is that guy. Seems more like a first 2 downs back, which is just as easy to find as a rookie or UDFA.

He's supposed to visit the Colts next week.

I don't want him there behind that line.
tacks traded a 4th and 7th for Tannehill and a 6th.

Blaine Gabbert is(will be) free.

Bring him home.

He's coming off another ACL injury and he was never that good to begin with. No thanks.

The 3rd, or 4th round should be the sweet spot for us taking a RB in the draft this year.
With Tannehill and Bridgewater getting 7+million, that means Bortles value keeps going up.

Maybe we cut him a little early?

Whatever he signs for should just add to the cap relief in 2020, if I read everything correctly.  Maybe Miami will want to bring him in as an experienced back up/possibly starter this year.

It would make sense if they went after Bortles on a cheap deal. Or maybe somebody like Fitzpatrick. They don't have anybody at QB.

It's looking like they'll go after a QB in the draft and they should.
