We can make a statement week 1

We certainly can. Hopefully that'll make them be totally focussed for the start of the season. Not that that was a problem last year to be fair.
Rough start. We could make a real name for ourselves. And we could also get buried by the time Sept is over.

LOL

Jags troll every opponent in this vid ^
Why do we always play the Titans at home first? I'd like to play them at home for the second game.
I'm actually glad we get KC first and out of the way. Good measuring stick to start the year. See if we have something.
I hate the fact that every time a west coast team comes here it’s a 4:00 kickoff. It’s an advantage for us if the away team is playing way earlier in the day than they’re normally accustomed to. Not much of a home field advantage IMO.

So teal is the permanent home color now? If so let’s rejoice!
Honestly thought we’d get a SNF or MNF with Foles but oh well
Chargers on bday, im happy. Draft up next to see what we have come week 1.
First three games are big time. 2 division games and an opener at home against KC. We also got the Saints at home, that's good. Week 17 could set up to be for the division. Solid schedule, no complaints really. Glad to see no Sun/Mon night games, whens the last time we legit played well in one of those games anyway?

The first three weeks are tough for the entire division.

For example...week 1

KC at Jacksonville
Hou at NO
Ten at CLE
Indy at Chargers

Week 2

Jacksonville at Houston
Colts at Tacks

Week 3

Tacks at Jacksonville
Falcons at Colts
Houston at Chargers
I don't think they've even had a Sunday night game in 8 or 9 years have they?

The last Monday night game I remember they squeaked past the ravens under Mularkey in 2011(I think?)

Rashean Mathis played one of his last great games as a Jag that night. He couldn't be thrown on.
Seems like always a thurs night game with the titans. Yuck. Can they get just a little more creative.

Yup there's gonna be a lot of important football in those first few weeks.

Then again, I said the same last year. Sad

Also, that official jags schedule video is awesome, well played team.
Titans on a Thursday night again. Early prediction, Jags get drubbed. Heck let's bring back the brown mustard uni's too.
Though I am hoping like hell for revenge week 3, part of me is dreading facing the tacks week 3 on a Thursday night, especially after playing Houston.

That's a challenging slate for all of the teams in the division.  Barring some very good health, good luck and a great draft or some teams falling off, it seems the team that wins the division might not have any better than a 10-6 or 11-5 record tops.
