We can make a statement week 1

Rough start. We could make a real name for ourselves. And we could also get buried by the time Sept is over.

Why do we always play the Titans at home first? I'd like to play them at home for the second game.
I'm actually glad we get KC first and out of the way. Good measuring stick to start the year. See if we have something.
No pain, no gain.
I hate the fact that every time a west coast team comes here it’s a 4:00 kickoff. It’s an advantage for us if the away team is playing way earlier in the day than they’re normally accustomed to. Not much of a home field advantage IMO.

So teal is the permanent home color now? If so let’s rejoice!

2023 and still counting.....SB will finally be ours soon enough. TLaw aka 'the prince that was promised' supporter.
First three games are big time. 2 division games and an opener at home against KC. We also got the Saints at home, that's good. Week 17 could set up to be for the division. Solid schedule, no complaints really. Glad to see no Sun/Mon night games, whens the last time we legit played well in one of those games anyway?

I don't think they've even had a Sunday night game in 8 or 9 years have they?
The last Monday night game I remember they squeaked past the ravens under Mularkey in 2011(I think?) Rashean Mathis played one of his last great games as a Jag that night. He couldn't be thrown on.
Seems like always a thurs night game with the titans. Yuck. Can they get just a little more creative.

Yup there's gonna be a lot of important football in those first few weeks. Then again, I said the same last year. ![]() Also, that official jags schedule video is awesome, well played team. Titans on a Thursday night again. Early prediction, Jags get drubbed. Heck let's bring back the brown mustard uni's too.

At some point you just have to let go of what you thought should happen and live in what is happening.
Though I am hoping like hell for revenge week 3, part of me is dreading facing the tacks week 3 on a Thursday night, especially after playing Houston.
Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!

Barring some very good health, good luck and a great draft or some teams falling off, it seems the team that wins the division might not have any better than a 10-6 or 11-5 record tops. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!
