Would like to see Mike McCarthy here next year coaching up Gardner Minshew. Think it would be a good fit.

If they would have made the 2pt conversion the tune would be that marrone has balls but he didnt so hes an idiot...shm..oh to be a coach make that play and youre a genius with big brass balls...mis it and youre an idiot stupidest call ever

[BLEEP] even if he makes it it’s a bad call Just the consequences are not as drastic.
I'm OK with the 2 pt try but I cringed when they handed it to the bust. Let Minshew make a play.

To give the devil his due, Jordan Reid did make a big time play to stop The Bust.

Moron would still be a horses behind but it would have eased some.

If the defense wasn't dominating I'd understand it, but they were absolutely stonewalling the Texans offense. Just a dumb decision, even if they do make it... based off the way the D was playing.

Tie it and lose in OT and you're a coward.

Exactly, The way he ran it with the ball covered up was doomed from the start. What a selfish person he is.

Most everyone on here has said they liked the idea of going for it, so you're wrong.  The issue people have is that he went with the guy who sucks and can't ever do anything right as opposed to putting it in the hands of the guy who got us to that point and was on fire.
The play call at the end to run Fournette up the middle...it's reminiscent of last year when they only had to get a first down while playing the Steelers. They needed 4 yards to be able to get a first and let the clock run down, and the choose to hand it off to Fournette. Doug stated afterwards that they weren't sure what to do so they put the ball in the hands of their best player. That was translation for "I don't know what the hell to do".

Same story today. They didn't have any kind of play that could have given them a chance at the endzone on the 2 points conversion? Lack of ingenuity and ideas. It's classic Doug. Same story, different date. He has to go. I hope Kahn can see this, or Coughlin, or anybody that can make it happen.
It is a make it your a genius, dont your an idiot call.

But it's not just having the balls to go for it. Its reading the game. We had come back from 10pt deficit, great drive to bring us back at the death. D was doing ok, we had the momentum, do you want to put it all on one play or do you want to give your team a shot. Theres a lot of things to factor in.

The other thing with the call, awful playcall for an all or nothing play. How much notice did De Filippo get we were going for 2? How long did he get to find that perfect play?
Marrone has got to go. The players don't respect him, and he's not the smartest guy. He's lost control.

I actually want Washington to fire Jay Gruden and the Jags to give him a shot.

Fournette was not our best player today, so he must have been thinking something else. Minshew was, and he takes the ball from him
Defense good all game. Kick the xp and go to OT.
I would take "Ask Madden" over Doug at this point.

Then how the hell are any of these coaches still employed?! You damn sure don't hand it to the guy who can't get it done.

Carlos Hyde scores on 2 pt attempt. The irony.
