Mullens is active roster correct? I would hop they dont panic and trade.

Agreed. I don't wanna waste a draft pick. Sloter and Lauletta will cost us nothing and be just as effective.

i'd go after McGough... he is already somewhat familiar with the offense.

Foles said this break is worse than the one he had in 2014 and he missed 8 games that year. It put him on IR mid way through the season.

It's usually a 6-8 week recovery, at minimum. Don't be surprised if he misses more than 8 games from this injury though.

After a bit of research, picking between the 2 is a risk either way. Sloter is a little bigger in size and supposedly has a really quick release, but only played one season in college and a bunch of preseason games with a career comp% of 61%. Lauletta is a little smaller by a couple inches, but played 3 seasons in college with a comp% of 63%, but has off the field issues. If I had to take one of the 2, I would go with Sloter.

No doubt about that. Sucks that Foles went down so quickly. At least he went out on an amazing throw.

McGough, even though he's being paid a premium to stay on the PS for the Texans, he'd get more $$$ coming back to the Jags and being on the roster making the rookie minimum at least. With Foles out for a few weeks it would seem to be a very stable gig and the Jags get a guy that already knows their system and playbook in case Minshew goes down with Foles.
