Hate that for Nick. Six weeks could be out from what I hear.

Lauletta and Sloter are more than adequate and they would costs nothing to pull them off of other team's practice squads. (09-08-2019, 09:09 PM)Passepartout Wrote: Hate that for Nick. It's usually a 6-8 week recovery, at minimum. Don't be surprised if he misses more than 8 games from this injury though.

Sloter is a little bigger in size and supposedly has a really quick release, but only played one season in college and a bunch of preseason games with a career comp% of 61%. Lauletta is a little smaller by a couple inches, but played 3 seasons in college with a comp% of 63%, but has off the field issues. If I had to take one of the 2, I would go with Sloter.(09-08-2019, 09:05 PM)MJonesD_32 Wrote: mmm k.... and who is better that's realistically available? besides.... sloter and lauletta.

Finding any QB at this point is a risk, but both guys had fantastic preseasons and given what is out there, I believe they are the best options.

No doubt about that. Sucks that Foles went down so quickly. At least he went out on an amazing throw.

McGough, even though he's being paid a premium to stay on the PS for the Texans, he'd get more $$$ coming back to the Jags and being on the roster making the rookie minimum at least. With Foles out for a few weeks it would seem to be a very stable gig and the Jags get a guy that already knows their system and playbook in case Minshew goes down with Foles.
Championship Formula:
1) Draft Trevor Lawrence! 2) Play good physical Defense! 3) Keep 91% of the roster healthy! 4) ??? 5) Blank #2 6) CHAMPIONSHIP!!! We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
