We just aren't mature or disciplined enough.
When great teams are given an inch, they turn it into a mile. Allen Hurns comes to mind, he caught a 10 yard pass and with one missed tackle, he turned it into a TD. Imagine if the majority of the team capitalized on mistakes like that. They control the momentum and keep the other team on the ropes when given the advantage. You can't let off the gas pedal, and the Jags somehow end up doing that every single game. Should be sitting at 3-1 or 2-2 if we had killer instincts.

Allen Robinson does not take his paws off the gas pedal either.

Because Gus starts trying to run out the clock with any lead in any quarter.

Nobody can say that was the wrong thing to do inside the two minute warning. It was exactly what we needed to do with a three point lead.
He packed it in at the beginning of the second half.

its not the wrong thing to do inside the 2minute mark... for the last 4 years he has kept other teams alive by not staying aggressive outside the end of the game

What about in the third quarter?

exactly.
Blowing a 23-6 lead and a billion yards of penalties falls on the coach

Our offensive line was giving Yeldon and Ivory huge holes to run through for a change. We had no tight ends during the entire second half.

We had fewer penalties today than in previous games IIRC.

This is like saying someone improved from Middle School level to HS JV

Wrong. Neal Sterling was our tight end.
And what does that have to do with the conservative play calling?
This roster is WAY much better than barely 1-3.
If you do not agree please politely go u know where.

Has anyone denied that?
Because they almost blew it against a terrible team, that's why lol

Quote:Did i not say i wouldn't enjoy it?
Yeah , feel good but that condom left a rash. Still enjoyable. Ok

Yeah. Ok. Almost. Like being a number off from winning lottery.
It's a win. A game which many thought they'd blow. A division game. Plenty to gripe about, but not the main one. A Double U.
I'm sure there will be critiques on how they handle the bye week.
I imagine everyday you wake up feels like a loss.
