This was rookie LF. He hit the holes hard, generally hit the correct hole and did correctly cut when the hole wasn't there. He also ran through defenders some.

Looked great for the 2nd half. Needs to do it again and for a full game.

What did they see in Fournette?  Today you saw it.

I guess a good game is enough for you.

The broncos are horrible
1st year 3.9 ypc 2nd year 3.3

And still McCaffrey and Cook>>>>>>> Fournette
Fournette ran really hard today and had about as good of a game as you can expect out of a running back. I also enjoyed that they gave Armstead some reps and he showed that he is more than capable. I also think that Ozigbo has the talent to be a capable backup.
Makes me wonder if Fournette was waiting to see if Minshew was the real deal before he put it all out. Running that hard has got to be real punishment on the body.
I'm just glad Armstead held onto the ball with the game hanging in the balance. Give the rookie some snaps a fresh Fournette is way better than a tired one.
Fournette finally got to run against a defense that had to respect the passing game. If Minshew continues to be the weapon he is, expect Fournette to have more games like today, this season.

This. It was fun seeing Minshew throw the running game open today. He was not backing down from the pocket. Kept throwing shots when he could. Whether they hit or miss or were negated. That kid took an [BLEEP] beating for Fournette today too.

They'll respect that and rally around that. Ramsey better make up his mind quickly with this much buzz and momentum picking up. Pretty soon the noise he's making will be drowned out by a surprising offense that doesn't need the defense ALL the time.

Can someone please explain to me why Fournette did not simply continue running leftwards towards God's green grass and the endzone, at the end of his huge run?  He literally slowed down, allowed his pursuers to catch up to him, then cut in rightwards, in the path cluttered with humanity.

To the left was all grass, no humans.  I am so confused.

Does he have a no TD scoring incentive?  Like, you must repel the endzone at all cost?

You sound like he's on your Fantasy Team.

I have Christian McCaffrey on mine. I'll be hoping our defense keeps him in check next weekend.

They love that wheel route [BLEEP]. I hope this is a game where Quincy Williams' speed shines bright.

Need a pick six on one of those. And we actually need Minshew to hit one of those. It's overdue. Came close twice this season with that play.

BTW Armstead should get more carries, he did good, seems to be a good RB.

He did nothing in the 1st half. That and penalties killed them and forced to play fron behind, so he needs to do it throughout a full game. The end stats don't need to change.

Ha, but no.  I don't play fantasy anymore, except in other arenas.

Seriously though, what am I missing there? Like why not keep running towards the endzone, leftwards?  I need to go look at it again...

So either he has an eye patch for a right eye or are best maulers in the ground game hail from the left side of the line. Cool.

I think he thought he had more gas in the tank than he actually did.

You need to look at the replay.  He wasn't going to score no matter which direction he went.  If he kept going left #41 had the angle on him.

Cheers Rico. Shall look.

It's almost like replacing Can't with a competent RG made a difference...
