It's gonna suck when this streak ends with Foles's return.

Yeah.  He's actually in a bit of a slump compared to how he started off, and yet, he's still the Rookie of the Week.

I’m thinking the Jorts, mustache, laid back attitude and ‘mania’ also is contributing.  He’s kinda his own little brand now.
I know it's just a meaningless popularity contest, but y'all don't even feel a little bad that an undeserving candidate won? We always rip the pro bowl because it's a fan vote and undeserving players with more fans always get voted in, often over Jags players that deserve it. Did that change now that that's us?
Yes, I feel terrible about the outcome of some perceived injustice I had absolutely nothing to do with.

I don't think he's undeserving at all.  He's playing QB, he accounted for 300 yards of offense, with a TD, didn't turn the ball over, and we won.  As for the other candidates, I vaguely recall a couple of them had a sack, one of them rushed for over 100 yards...  The other four candidates were not that impressive really.

Mayfield

Surprisingly, that's actually arguable. I haven't watched Mayfield play much outside of highlights but statistically there's not much to choose between the two this year.

Sorry, I just don't like double standards. I know it's easy to overlook when it goes in your favor for a change, but just like it's annoying when undeserving players make the pro bowl over deserving Jags it also annoys me when an undeserving Jag wins because most fans are stupid. I remember the threads complaining that MJD didn't win fedex ground player of the week when he deserved because insert player on more popular team won when they shouldn't have.

Simmons was by a gigantic margin the best rookie this week.

Think of the best game Josh Allen has had this season. Simmons just equaled that, less than a year off ACL surgery. Freakshow. Minshew was average at best against maybe the worst defense in the league with both of its starting cornerbacks out.

Again....LOL
I would say to Jaguar fans, just enjoy the ride! Don’t overthink it LOL.
I’m gonna start a petition on change.org to remove Minshew from the voting..

Kidding- I could give a [BLEEP] less..

Every other org has had their moment, just enjoy ours ladies and gents.

Does he get extra votes for coming off an injury or something? Equal to Allen's best game, well Allen didn't win either.

I'll take Minshew's "average" with 300+ yards, a TD, no interceptions, and a WIN over anyone else on that list.

Halfway through the season?  No, I don' t think Mayfield had a better rookie year halfway through.  He turned it on in tje back half of the season.

Didnt realize he was talking about the first half of the season. Mayfield didnt even start till like week 3 I think.  Still set the TD record for a rookie

I am legitimately curious if you’re actually a Jaguars fan. You mercilessly knocked Fournette all offseason saying Jordan Howard is better and now we have a guy win 5/7 ROW awards and it’s “not really deserved”
