Cousin Eddie couldn't have said it better.
Quote:It sounds like Skuta won't play this week. So does that mean we'll finally get to see Jack play?

NOPE!

Unless it's special teams or an injury.

I believe unless we blow the colts out this Sunday, Bradley is gone. Even if we win a close game I still think Bradley is gone. If we can squeak by the colts, fire Bradley, we have a bye week for Marrone to get acclimated as head coach. Then we come back fresh playing the Bears, very winnable. At that point we are 2-3 gaining momentum with a huge game at home vs the Raiders. If we win that game we are right back in the hunt. I know it sounds stupid, but this season isnt over. We have a very favorable schedule. We could easily be 2-1 right now. We lost to the best qb in football, a team we can just never beat, and a 3-0 team (although not a very good 3-0 team, they are still 3-0). I'm not ready to say we're done just yet. Only 3 0-3 teams have made the playoffs in nfl history, it's not impossible.

Why do ppl love Marrone so much?
^

Because he's done such a great job with the oline.  The real strength of the team!

But then it would just be malfeasance for malfeasances sake

I don't get it either. Right now, he's in charge of the O-Line, which has been miserable. What makes people think he can improve the entire team, when he can't even improve the one aspect of the team he's in charge of now?

I too have been disappointed with his OL coaching. I don't think he's liked, so much as he's the obvious mid-season replacement since he has experience and a decent record as an NFL head coach. Maybe he's just a much better head coach than OL coach.

If you want to replace Gus with a position coach who has been successful here, you're down to Jerry Sullivan.

No one "loves" Marrone but he would most likely take over since he is the only one with HC experience.

Yeah this...

I mean otherwise, what good is an assistant HC title?

LOL, it's not that I love Marrone.  It's that I firmly believe that Gus Bradley's coaching style and how he's organized this team and philosophy is killing the development of this team.

I think Marrone is the epitome of first do no harm...  where as Gus is doing harm.  Get rid of the dude that's doing harm, and bring in a guy that at least has a track record of doing no harm...

Quite honestly, I don't think much changes if Marrone becomes the coach. We need help in the running game because of the OLine. He's in charge of that. I swear I saw a quote from Joeckel about zone blocking. We still trying to make that work??? Thought we abandoned that last year. Anyway, how is he going to stop Blake's regression? Seems like it's something Blake has to do. I think we're being a bit fickle. I get we're all tired of losing, but jumping ship now isn't going to make losing feel any better. We may feel better immediately but the very next lost will send us into despair. This year is what it is, might as well take it on the chin. It's not like we haven't before. Maybe Blake breaks out of it, maybe not but firing Bradley will fix nothing.
^^ This. The only thing that would change is the name of the coach and nothing else.

Going to be interesting seeing Jack with playing time at LB.

Tweet from Ryan O'Halloran (@ryanohalloran) - Bradley on LB Myles Jack maybe playing: "I said, ‘On Sunday, when you get that opportunity, that’s your day. Just let loose.’” #Jaguars

I hope Gus Juice isn't on the banned substance list...

hopefully that opportunity is the 1st play of the game and not when.we are already down and the game getting out of hand
I wonder how long it takes before this board tries to bury him after the first mistake?

I will try to perform crucifixion if he even thinks about making a mistake.

To myself of course because I love him so much and I couldn't live with myself.
