For thinking Frangie is a horrible play by play guy?

Frangie, he'll stutter or repeat everything at least twice. He's horribad.

His touchdown calls sound lime someone in the bathroom after being constipated for weeks

Just another bad decision made by this team. He sucks on his radio show, she sucks in the booth.

I couldn’t agree more. He sounds like he is forcing enthusiasm and it sounds so terrible.

He's terrible and screws names, stats, words, etc every game. Since the station pays him, he isn't going anywhere unless the Jags put pressure on them. They still have him in the main slot in the afternoon though, so I don't see anything changing.

Posted comment about Frangie earlier this year. I would gladly welcome back Brian Sexton and Matt Robinson. Frangie is unlistenable (did I just make up a word?). Just horrible.
We call Tony Boselli, "Marblemouth." Spoke like he had a mouthful of marbles.
Lageman is good. Provides insight and analysis.

The guy has no passion.
Brian Sexton is much better.

I never understood the reasoning in getting rid of Sexton. ?

Sexton is a natural and doesn’t need to “sound” exciting, he actually is excited. Frangie sounds like he’s forcing.

1010XL is owned by an ownership group known as Seven Bridges Radio. If memory serves, Frangie is a major player within the ownership group. In other words, he's got the job, cause he's the boss.

Ahhh thanks for the insight. This would explain it. It does seem like he has a lot of pull at 1010. He’s so bad it’s cringey hearing his calls.

The Jags didn't get rid of Sexton. 1010 bought the rights and Sexton worked for 690. They weren't going to pay Sexton when they already had other employees.

Yep he isn't going anywhere. He goes from never really calling games to broadcasting NFL games, I doubt he is really even a fan of the Jags other than he lives here and has a sports talk show. He is a Steeler and Gator fan.

If you don't like the team guys, why not just turn them off? I don't read o-zone cause I don't enjoy him. Especially now that ask vic is independent, I go back to him if I want that kind of content.
