Maybe, but a lot of this is scheme.
The LBs are always so for away because of the stupid zone that they have no chance. It also hurts the run defense because they have to play the pass 1st.

Seahawks guy. Fans were mad after they cut him.

I would keep moving them around today. Ngakoue needs to get in on the action next. Smoot as well.

Probably not quite as bad as the RB's during the time between MJD and Toby though... I remember thinking Jalen Parmele should be starting at one point.
At least we can see some semblance of talent on this team, even if the coaching is terrible and results look even worse.
Dillard! That's a name my brain has deleted. It's sad when you think our best WR during those years are probably Blackmon and Cecil!
When we got Gerhart ...I'd watched a lot of him the season before in Minnesota covering for Peterson, I was convinced he was going to be such a stud!! I went down with that ship!!
I agree we have a much better foundation to build on and I fear some of our busts are just not being coached or used right
Sims-Walker was real good for us. Keyed some of the last competitive teams we had after the 2007 playoff run. I'll never forget the game against the Jets where he converted 3rd and 10 on Darrelle Revis on the game winning drive, finished the game like 4/50/1. Him and Cecil Shorts deserve zero criticism for the black hole that was WR production for the longest time here.
Robinson whooped. Too slow to play LT. Needs to be kicked inside next year.

Minshew had to hit Cole on that previous play though.

As the saying goes, Cam Is getting beat like a drum.
Hey 3rd and 11. Screens work against us and yet we can't do anything but let our QB eat dirt
Go Jags

I wouldn't say either was "real good" (especially Shorts outside of his 1 good year where he dropped everything), but they were definitely the best of a (probably?) historically bad bunch the team trotted out there for close to a decade.
Looked like that sack had a lot of contact to Minshew's head... But if Cam Robinson could do anything successfully, other than yell and scream the other team, it'd probably be a moot point. Talk about hitting a sophomore wall.

Yannick is suffering from the stupid gameplan to stand him up and split him out so far wide that he is taken out of most plays and ends up allowing way too many cutback yards.
