I found some interesting bits. Telvin is the third highest graded linebacker in the league. Poz is 23rd. Malik is the 17th highest graded DLineman in the league and is 3rd in pass rush. Fowler is the 43rd ranked edge defender and Ngakoue is 77th. Their splits are interesting though. Fowler is the 5th ranked run edge defender and Ngakoue is the 29th ranked pass rusher. Ngakoue is really ranked like a bum against the run. Both of these rankings match what I've seen. If we could fuse Fowler and Ngakoue into one player right now we'd have Khalil Mack tbh. Right now we have to hope that Fowler improves his pass rush and Ngakoue improves his run defense and we'll have two very good, well rounded edge defenders. Regardless, they are both better than Branch and Clemons last year. Tashaun Gipson is the 40th ranked safety and Cyprien is the 47th. Both are basically average. Gipson is ranked 27th in coverage and Cyprien is ranked 17th against the run. Maybe the most pleasant surprise is Ramsey. Ramsey is the 12th ranked CB in the league and is ranked 9th in coverage. As a rookie. I think he's the only rookie CB in the top 50.

 





 

 

Really wish Jax had picked up Zach Brown. Would have loved to see him at Skuta's spot. Oh well.

Fowler should be a LB.

You're reading it wrong. Ngakoue has a 34.0 rating against the run. Fowler has an 83.9 rating.

I agree and disagree. If his pass rush technique doesn't improve then I agree, but I'd give him the season to see if he improves his pass rush technique. If he doesn't, then we should draft a DE edge rusher next year and move Fowler to SAM. Fowler could be a really good SAM linebacker.

The difference is Yannick has actually played well and has shown plenty of flashes.
