My issue is the losing culture that hasn't changed. The players were gifted 3 times to win, but still lost. During the game they made stupid mistakes and they eventually but us in the [BLEEP]. It's like they don't know how to capitalize on opponents mistakes. Gus isn't the guy. Olson sucks too.
Tony is just not the guy to talk bad about coaches. Listen to Prisco today, he'll shred them probably.
May be too simple minded, but makes you wonder if we have any assistants upstairs actually watching the game. Heck, those headsets probably aren't even plugged in!

Quote:STOP with the injury crap...every other team in the league is dealing with injuries.  Hell, the Patriots are down to their 3rd string QB and they're 3-0.  We are not prepared to win football games.

It is this. The ONLY players on this team who are playing like the know what is coming are Telvin and Poz. Poz has always done that and it looks like he taught Telvin. Some of the other players are sometimes making great reaction plays or showing off great awareness and athleticism. But no one else ever looks like like the read the play immediately and knew what was coming.

NFL teams and schemes are too complex and the game is too fast, if most of your players are taking that long to diagnose everything. Given that we had way too few veterans on this team to teach the Jaguars' core, that job should fall to the coaches. They just aren't doing it.

We hear how good most of these coaches are, then may be great technicians in the mechanics of how to play. But that is only the foundation, after that you need to be able to diagnosis and scheme and that has never happened under this regime.

I might put Jalen Ramsey in that category with Telvin and Poz.

I not sure on him yet. His plays have seemed due to more incredible speed, athleticism, and reaction. His technique on press and man can also be near perfect for a vet, though not always consistent.

But recognition would be knowing where the route is going, and cutting it off by beating the receiver to the spot. I don't think I've seen that yet from him. Hopefully soon.
Gus has to go but he wasn't the reason they lost yesterday. The defensive penalties at the end of the 1st half were inexcusable. Not just Fowler's, the D could have been off the field if it wasn't for Jackson's penalty. And the offence at the end of the game - wow, just freaking wow. You have the game in your hands, and forget scoring - no, you just have to get a couple of first downs to run out the clock once the Ravens use their TO's. Couldn't even manage a 1st down. Can't run the ball worth crap. It was a pathetic, weak display of football.

“Gus Bradley will be evaluated at the end of the year…” - Boselli

What does he know that we don’t know?
Quote:If we are "our record" what does that say about us as a franchise? Doesn't someone need to be accountable for a 12-39 record. If it's not Gus then is it Dave? Something has to give. Either we haven't acquired the talent to consistently win, the coaches haven't properly groomed or best utilized the players, or its some degree of both. I get that players need to "win" their individual battles but that is a given. However, when I watch this team I am often asking myself why aren't our players consistently winning their individual match ups? One week it will be defense, the next it's offense, then another week the special teams unit isn't doing their job. With the level of inconsistency from week to to week for the past four years I'm having a hard time believing its just players not making plays, but then maybe I'm biased because I don't really care for Coach Gus Bradley.

Exactly -- If he's saying it's not the coaching, but rather the players, then he's indirectly blaming Dave Caldwell.
Going to be weird evaluating a coach (at the end of the year) when he was fired 3 months prior.

As it has already been said Boseli is a "yes man!"  I don't respect his opinion at all.

You know, I dont like jave odd numbers in the win loss column, 12-40 just sounds better. Better yet 12-48 cause we all like multiples of 12
Boselli is belligerently one-sided and will not hold the coaching staff in judgment.  Being loud doesn't make you right.

Whack-a-Mole........that's what comes to mind about this team. Up pops a bad defense against the Chargers........WHACK ! It improves in the next game against the Ravens. O.K., defense improves, but up pops a bad offense against the Ravens........WHACK! I expect the offense to improve against the Colts, but up will pop the defense again, or perhaps special teams..........

They can't get all three aspects working at the same time.
Quote:Don't forget that head scratching non-timeout at 1:50 that let the Ravens drain the clock down to 1:20 seconds. Leaving us with only 30 seconds to drive it down the field instead of 70 seconds

It's a bit worse than that, actually. He didn't take the timeout on the third down, but took it on the fourth down. So, instead of the Ravens having to rush out and set up, then kick the FG in haste, Badley let them come out at leisure, take some practice swings of the leg, then kick it.

If this guy is this big if a moron with in-game decisions, how stupid is he with game planning?

Boselli treats Gus like the alcoholic brother that he knows is a real problem.  He knows that Gus is a rockhead but when others start piling on he comes to his defense as if everybody else but him is the problem.

He's also admittedly biased and he doesn't hesitate to remind listeners of that fact.

He also said on the radio last week that staff changes become more of a conversation if they start 0-4.  That's his openly biased way of acknowledging a problem.

He's not as bad as many here want to portray him.  His delivery makes it a little tough to stomach for some fans though, and I get that.  He's condescending at times.
Maybe if the coaches would stop putting them in position to fail so often the players wouldn't be a problem. Maybe if they would stop putting them in a system they don't fit into and adapted their system to the talent on the roster then the players wouldn't be a problem.

Any system that keeps Jack off the field for old man Poz and Skuta is junk.
