I'm okay with taking Gus to London. Bringing him back :whistling: ....................not so much.

Quote:I just don't see him doing that. It's a lose - lose
Fire him = unrest in locker room for 12games and a bad taste until next year.
Push through = chance of playing to our standard and still losing. Which will result in a new coach and a new system and yet another year of the feeling of rebuilding. Surprised how badly Bruce Arians is doing btw
Quote:"We have nothing to lose"... but on the other hand, what do we have to gain by firing Gus at this point? Statistically, interim coaches don't do very well; so what's to be gained then by firing Gus after the bi week? We'll still have the same schemes in place and essentially the same coaches. I don't think anyone who we might use as an interim would be a good HC here.It will show the players and fans that lackluster play will not be tolerated. I don't know if we will be better this season after he is gone but atleast it is trying something new. Continue with the same old crap is insane
So what's to be gained if Gus is sacked before the end of the season, other than perhaps him becoming our 'whipping boy' for our frustration as fans for years of bad football? If Gus becomes our 'whipping boy' then shouldn't Dave also be on a hot seat since he hired Gus as well as our current 'franchise quarterback' who isn't looking too good?
